The Age Of Aquarius 1

"This age will be an age of splendour and of light, because it is the home of the Holy Breath; and the Holy Breath will testify anew for Christ, the Logos of the eternal Love. At first of every age this Logos is made manifest in flesh so man can see and know and comprehend a Love that is not narrow, circumscribed. Twelve times in every revolution of the sun this christed Love of God is made full manifest in flesh upon the planes of earth, and you may read it in Akasha the wondrous lessons that these Christs have taught to man" (p.15.) - Dan Costian (Ph.D), Bible Enlightened

Man with Pitcher of Water, the symbol of the Age of Aquarius
Jesus was the one to announce the Age of Aquarius:
"a man will meet you carrying an earthen pitcher of
water; follow him into the house where he goes in"
(Luke 22:10; Mark 14:13.) The Last Supper was the
symbol of the future "unio mystica."

"So, now a New Age has started which is called the
Age of Aquarius, meaning the pitcher carrier of
spiritual holy water that is the work of Kundalini."

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi

“In the New Age we break free of centuries of false doctrines, destructive indoctrinations, absurd ideas, and children’s stories about God, education, medicine, and love. The corrupt foundations of false society crumble. This time of crises is not the signal of the end of the world. What comes is not the end, but the beginning. The dream humanity has lived for centuries ends and we awaken to a bright new day, a bright new way.

Now in the Age of Aquarius, everything becomes unified. All our differences, all our dualities mix together like the fragrances of a flower shop, with all of the different flowers adding their bouquet to the overall mix until they are inseparable. Each individual flower remains distinct and individual, each one’s fragrance is unique and discernible when you come up close to it, yet joined together in unity with the others in the wonderful mixture that is the smell of the shop.

Our individual worth comes from inside, from what we have inside, through our development, our evolution, and what we can give to society. Now our drastic differences dissolve and we integrate into the whole. We integrate and unify with the energy of the universe, with the great cosmic spirit.

Mystically, Aquarius signifies friendship. Friendship bursts upon us in its most elevated sense, in its most noble aspect — with understanding, collaboration, and fraternity. Love and friendship will have nothing to do with possessing or ego. The idea of love meaning "you belong to me" ends in the New Age. The thought of friends of convenience, friendship based on an ulterior motive such as business ends. Love and friendship based on anything other than pure love, the divine and pure love of God, changes the sentiment into a coin of exchange — you no longer have love or friendship because of who you are, but because of what you do or can do for me.

This is the era of peace, of unity, of love. The polarity of Aquarius, Leo, floods us with its complementary characteristics. The celestial throne of the Sun, Leo, encourages, ennobles, enriches, and enlightens us for the growth of our hearts, the growth of our inner beings. Together with Aquarius, Leo promotes the integration of our individuality with our unity with all humanity. We realize that we must first be something in and of ourselves to be something for others.

Under their combined influence, friendship with an agenda disappears into true fraternity, into pure unity. Then we can prepare ourselves for unity with the universal spirit. . . .

In the Age of Aquarius, we break from the past to invent the future we desire in our society and in our person. The answers we find will be wholly new ones, totally original ones, but they require a thorough examination of what has been and what we wish to come. All our institutions as we know them must adapt to this new reality."

“The planetary celebration will begin for the birth of mankind in the universe, a blessed Cosmic Child eagerly awaited by the evolved beings through the universe without end. Hallelujah ... An uncontrollable joy (Planetary Smile) will ripple through the thinking layers of earth. The cocreative systems, which are lying psychologically dormant in humanity will be activated. From within, all sensitive persons will feel the joy of the force, flooding their systems with love and attraction."

New Ager, Barbara Marx Hubbard

“Well over 90 percent of North Americans say they believe in God, and the figure is much the same in western Europe . . . What is interesting, however, is that less than 50 percent of the people believe that Christianity is the only true religion. And this opens up the possibility of much more experimentation in the field of religion and for much greater movement between religions. Many people are not leaving God for no God, as Eliot imagined, but for new ways of understanding God and new forms of religion to suit their contemporary situation. This often, but not always, entails a rejection of older forms of religion or notions of God. . . .

Increasing numbers of people in the west, it seems, are prepared to be less dogmatic and more open-minded and accept beliefs from a variety of traditions without too much concern about their consistency. Reincarnation, for example, is a non-Christian belief held by an estimated 25 percent of Western Europeans, many of whom who would also appear to believe in the resurrection of Jesus and other Christian tenets about the afterlife. The New Age movement, which draws on insights from many traditions, is perhaps the best example of this eclectic approach.

In the future, as communications increase contact and interaction between cultures on a global scale, people may well acknowledge a range of beliefs once considered totally incompatible and gain benefit from practices found outside their own religious traditions. Christians, for example, may increasingly practice Buddhist — and Hindu-style meditation. The openness to other religions, the perception of the relative nature of religious truth, and the readiness to experiment suggests that the movement towards eclecticism may gather momentum.

If new religions influenced by eastern traditions and the New Age movement can be taken as a guide to the future, religion in years to come may be shaped by concerns about self-identity and personal well-being and wholeness. This concern with the "self" does not necessarily reflect a narcissistic strain, but rather a belief that the world can be changed only through a change in individuals, not by organizations and governments . . .

New Age spirituality focuses strongly on Self-realization and the harmonious relationship between people and their natural environment. New Age values and concerns, which run counter to much of the secular spirit of western industrialized societies, may point toward the path religion could take in the future."

“Myth, Ritual, and Community. Humans need community and rituals to tell stories, pass on wisdom, celebrate life, mourn loss, and mark life changes. But with the shifting nature of families and the mobility of individuals, meaningful community life has all but disappeared for many Americans. The New Age interest in world mythology, and what Jung called the universal archetypes, is motivated by the desire to restore a sense of sacred to everyday life."

“Like the air, which is free to move where it will, Aquarius is a freedom-loving sign — "as free as the wind." The new era, the New Millennium, bring with it an era of light and freedom. For too many years people have been "free" in quotes, "free" in name only, "free" within certain restrictions, which is not free at all . . . True freedom challenges all of our institutions, our laws, our religious edicts, which exist only to mark the limits of our freedom, to tell us what is right and wrong. But in the Age of Aquarius we won't need others to define those limits for us. We each, individually and collectively, will know right from wrong."

“As we pass through the eras of the universe, we feel the influences like the swinging of a pendulum. This phase has been one of materialism, of looking outside ourselves for satisfaction, pleasure, growth, enlightenment. This has been the era of the "American dream," and the countries that did not fight for that material dream, such as India, sank into poverty. America exaggerated materialism and lost its spiritual values. Now the pendulum swings in the opposite direction, and we look inside ourselves for these things and more. Aquarius brings with it a compelling desire for spiritual rebirth, but instead of looking constantly outside of ourselves, we will look within to find that we are all linked to the universe and to God.

Already, in this day, people think and dream of a world in harmony, a world at peace. They no longer want to be tied up, they don't want barriers or chains. The age of slavery, the Age of Pisces, is finished. People now seek the unification of all peoples, and we concern ourselves more with humanity in general than with ourselves; in concerning ourselves with all, we care for everyone. We seek ideals, and not the limitation of personal sacrifice. We are souls in search of freedom, feeling as though we are only lent to this world, gaining vision, before moving on to other worlds."

“Whereas worldly ambitions, riches, and (especially) discursive knowledge scatter the person and drain his energies, the saint "embraces Unity" or "holds fast to the One" (pao i); that is, he inspires to union with the Tao in a primordial undivided state underlying consciousness. "Embracing Unity" also means that he maintains the balance of Yin and Yang within himself and the union of his spiritual (hun) and vegetative (p’o) souls, the dispersion of which spells death . . .

The spiritual soul tends to wander (in dreams), and any passion or desire can result in loss of soul. To retain and harmonize one’s soul is important for physical life as well as for the unification of the whole human entity. Cleansed of every distraction, the saint creates inside himself a void that in reality is plenitude. Empty of all impurity, he is full of the original energy (yuan ch’i), which is the principle of life that in the ordinary man decays from the moment of birth on.

Because vital energy and spirituality are not clearly distinguished, old age in itself becomes a proof of sainthood. The aged Taoist sage becomes a saint because he had been able to cultivate himself throughout a long existence; his longevity in itself was the proof of his saintliness and union with Tao. Externally he had a healthy, flourishing appearance and inside he contained an ever-flowing source of energy that manifested itself in radiance and in a powerful, beneficial influence on his surroundings, which is the charismatic efficacy (te) of the Tao."

“The Piscean age started giving way with the advent of scientific thought during the Renaissance, but it still holds the majority of humanity in its grasp through the orthodox religions, blind patriotism, and growing financial inequality . Due to concentration on the lower energies of this sign especially in the last century, the world has virtually become a 'market' and 'money' its God. One can never be sure when exactly the energies of Aquarius, the sign of Man, will take over. My view is that this change would take place somewhere in the early years of the 21st century. . . .

The period of transition of the next millennium 1999 -2000 AD is the one which carries a lot of weight from predictions and prophecies of various scholars and prophets of the past as well as the present. The Christ (derived from the Greek word Christos, meaning the "anointed one" ) who inaugurated the age of Pisces as the Jesus of Nazareth, himself says;

"When the Sign of Man shall come, he will enlighten you in all things."

In my view, the Aquarian Age, the age of individual enlightenment and brotherhood of Man, will only manifest fully only after a purification process which will involve a sudden fall of the present civilization. This fall is imminent in the way this civilization has polluted the Earth beyond repair -- at least by human means!

Of course we all wish to see things happen with the minimum of suffering and maximum of benefit but the present reality and the message of the ancients reveals a different plot which we must accept as a manifestation of the cosmic intelligence / will.

The ancients have many times warned us that in the past, many civilizations which considered themselves invincible, were reduced to dust by the storms of 'time'. . . .

I feel that all the Knowledge is out there already, and all we need to do is put the pieces together and synthesize all the seemingly unrelated aspects.

For example, the fact that Draconis among the constellations signifies the Flying Serpent, relates to the Mayan civilization which worshipped the Flying Serpent with the temples of Angkor, which were made in the image of this constellation.

The Flying Serpent is revered in the Chinese culture as the "Dragon" which in turn symbolizes the very heights of wisdom and knowledge.

The same Serpent is revered in the Vedic scriptures due its association with the "Kundalini" power, which resides at the base of the spine and is the giver of supreme enlightenment once it opens up the "Crown center" located at the top of the head. Vedic astrology represents this Serpent power through the Moons nodes, Rahu (north node) and Ketu (south node).

In my mind their is no doubt that all the cultures and civilizations past and present have a common origin. I also think that the science of astrology is the common link between the symbolism of all these cultures.

Why it has become possible for us to break this astronomical / astrological code of the Ancients at the present time is because we might again be on the verge of another global cataclysm similar to that of 10,000 BC, and the key to our future may lie in this very Knowledge!"

“But whether or not the worst of the events Nostradamus foretold come to pass, he saw that there would be a great spiritual rebirth throughout the world. Individuals would renounce the falsehoods of materialism and look within themselves. After communication is restored, people will come to this realization together, and there will be a great rebirth of philosophy that blends the Eastern and Western religions. It will be a worldwide movement upholding the truth as everyone perceives it, just as it is to be expected in the Age of Aquarius . . .

Also in keeping with what the alignment of planets presages for the New Millennium, Nostradamus predicts the tearing down of past institutions, including the mighty religions of the Age of Pisces. "Temples consecrated in the early Roman fashion," he wrote, "will reject the broken foundations; taking their early human laws, expelling almost all the cults of the saints."

Some also interpret his words to mean that the feminine aspects of God, which have been ignored, neglected, and reviled for the eternity of the Age of Pisces, will again be recognized and revered. This too is a return to the early ages of humanity and ancient societies in which the female aspect of God was worshipped and adored. During the patriarchal era of Pisces, the female aspect was suppressed and repressed. Now society will come to terms with divinity of both masculine and feminine aspects, of Mother Earth and Father Sky, of yin and yang, and of the synthesis of energies for a more balanced world view.”

“PEACEFUL SLUMBER IN THE FOREST OF THE MIND.
By Michael Levy.

Listen! How sweet sings the breeze, merrily off trees,
Whispering wonderment, the ear quietly it does please,
Nurturing souls, drifting to Celestial splendor,
Beauty unfolds, as into peaceful slumber, coils surrender.

Castles in the sky, growing columns of inspired aspiration,
Silver shadows flowing through all generations,
Warm cocoons of mortality, linked by silken threads,
Webs of lives where comfort embeds.

Serenely rests the head of time,
Pillows puff by wisps of the sublime,
Mellow moments spark a fusion sphere,
Perfumed gardens alight, dancing nymphs are near.

Oh mindful forest flower, rivers many bridges cross,
branches leaved with neurons, invisible flakes of frost,
Tender is the night, spirits lovingly caress,
Sleep well my children, aware God will bless.”
