The
Day Your
Hands Will Speak
"THAT DAY SHALL WE SET A
SEAL ON THEIR MOUTHS BUT THEIR HANDS WILL SPEAK TO US,
AND THEIR FEET BEAR WITNESS TO ALL THAT
THEY DID."
Al Quran. Sura
Yasin-Chapter 36, Verse 65
“The
Inevitability of the Last Judgment: "The Final
Weighing of Deeds"
Except for the theme of
monotheism, the Quran speaks more of the coming Day of
Judgment than of any other topic. Confessing the
Shahadah — "There is no god but God, and Muhammad
is the Prophet of God" — and believing in the
accountability of all humans before God are the cement
which holds Islam together.
Muhammad, among other
things, came to warn us of a time when truth would be
known, when the thoughts and intentions of the heart
would be revealed. He earnestly proclaimed as inevitable
a day when accounts would be settled and when scales
would be balanced.
Fazlur Rahman, in an
oblique paraphrase of sura 50:22, said that Judgment Day
is the "Hour when every human will be shaken into a
unique and unprecedented self-awareness of his deeds; he
will squarely and starkly face his own doings,
not-doings, and mis-doings and accept the judgment upon
them. . . . "
Something like a Final
Judgment or Day of Reckoning is a naturally corollary of
monotheism. If there is one God who knows all and sets
standards of behavior for the world, there must be a
time of judgment, or the edifice crumbles of its own
weight.”

Here again it is very clear, once the
ascent or realization takes place, a person’s hands and
feet start to speak, bearing witness against him. Not only
the hands and feet but the whole body starts to speak. All
of the rights and the wrongs that have been done or are
being done are known through the vibrations being emitted
from the body. Thus, on the vibratory level, everything is
known, not only about yourself but also about others.
After realization these vibrations are
distinctly felt on the hands and feet as a cool breeze
flowing from within. A person also gets to know when he is
being lied to, or being manipulated. The mouth stops
speaking for the realized person, as the mouth can lie but
the hands start speaking and the feet bear witness, as
everything is revealed through the vibrations and the
vibrations never lie.
This is the time of Qiyamat without a
doubt as all the prophecies in the Quran and the Hadith are
coming true. The experience of Self-realization, ascent and
meraj are not just happening to a few but thousands and
thousands of people throughout the world are experiencing it
en masse through Sahaja Yoga.
The Muslim community is generally highly
programmed and conditioned. It therefore does not look
beyond what has been taught to them by the Mullahs, who
themselves, unfortunately, do not have much foresight and
insight. The Sufis, however, discovered the true essence of
Islam and sought their self-realization and God-realization.
They saw the All Pervading and His love everywhere and in
everything. The Sufis always kept seeking and searching for
God. They knew that this was possible after they had
attained their own Meraj. . . .
Now for the first time in human history,
in the presence of H.H. Mataji Nirmala Devi, thousands
of people are experiencing this great phenomenon en masse,
through the simple process of Sahaja Yoga. Her authority and
identity, along with the truth of all that is written above,
can only be confirmed after one experiences the awakening of
Kundalini (Buraq) and gets self-realization (Meraj). When
the Kundalini passes through Chakras and when the seventh
Chakra, the Sahasrara, is opened, a person achieves
connection with the Divine.
This is the Qiyamat, the time of the
Final Judgment. This is the time the Prophet told the world
about. It is just the matter of recognizing it and ascending
within oneself and through the seven heavens."
Javed Khan,
Islam Enlightened
(Javed Khan, Islam Enlightened, New
Delhi, India, 1988, p. 32-3.)
“All
religions have promised inner silence when you reach the state of
Self-realization, the inner miracle of the subtle awareness and not
gross jugglery. The Gita says that you become the witness (Sakshi
Swarup) of the Play of the Divine. Many modern thinkers are also
talking about the new awareness. This has been described as
thoughtless awareness which results in collective consciousness. We
hear of many prophecies made by ancient and modern writers about the
evolution of a new race of super human beings of unique awareness.
These are no more empty words. Through the discovery of Sahaja Yoga it
is possible to achieve the transformation of the human consciousness
to higher planes promised by the various seers."

On the Day of Judgment there will be
absolutely no requirement for human testimony. Allah will judge all
humans through the vibrations issuing from
all parts of their bodies, an absolutely flawless method of
Divine Judgment devoid of any error. That is precisely what
the Qur’an means when it says that "their hands will
speak to Us."
At present on Earth these vibrations are
used during the
Resurrection for spiritual self-cleansing,
getting rid of bad habits and vices, healing others, verifying
Truth, meditation, verifying God's guidance from within ("your
hands will speak" as to
your faults), and so on. These vibrations are only felt
when the physical body begins its metamorphosis into the
spirit after Self-realization during the present
Resurrection. These same vibrations (Kundalini) will testify for or against
its owner when that Day of Judgment comes.
All souls
will be judged through vibrations
after their physical deaths during Qiyamah through
their own Kundalini. This
massive record of one's deed on Earth can be easily read through vibrations issuing
forth from their bodies. There will be no need for self-defense, cross-examination, evidence, witnesses,
judge, jury or anything else whatsoever. God Almighty has already built the
instrument of the Last Judgment within all humans — the Kundalini in
the human body will bear witness for or against
it's owner!
This absolutely flawless
Divine Judgment where the human body gives evidence against itself is described in the Qur’an as;
On that Day that the enemies of Allah
will be gathered together to the Fire, they will be marched
in ranks.
At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins
(4487)
Will bear witness against them as to
(all) their deeds.
They will say to their skins: "Why
bear ye witness against us?" (4488)
They will say: "Allah hath given us
speech — (He) who giveth speech to everything:
He created you for the first time, and
unto Him were ye to return.
"Ye did not seek to hide yourselves, (4489)
lest your hearing, your sight, and your
skins, should bear witness against you!
But ye did think that Allah knew not many
of the things that ye used to do!
But this thought of yours which ye did
entertain concerning your Lord, hath brought you to
destruction,
And (now) have ye become of those utterly
lost!"
surah 41:19-23 Fussilat (Expounded)
"4487. All the members of their bodies and the
faculties of their minds, which they misused, will bear
witness against them. Similarly, in 36:65, their hands and
their feet bear witness against them. Their "skin"
not only includes the sense of touch (which is so often
misused in sex), but also the sense of taste and the sense
of smell, which are specialised forms of the organ of touch.
All the sensory organs, and all their intellectual and
emotional counterparts advance us by their use and pull us
down by their misuse. They become tell-tale witnesses
against us if abused.
4488. A new phase of their existence will now dawn
on them. They used to think that if they concealed their
evil deeds from the rest of the world, nothing would happen
to them! But Allah can give "tongues to trees",
and can make every fact of life, known and unknown to the
world, contribute to the elucidation of truth and justice.
"Speech" on behalf of their senses and faculties
should of course be understood figuratively. When we succumb
to evil, our limbs and faculties betray us.
4489. The limbs and faculties will say: "You
did not seek to hide your evil from us: in fact you used us
for your evil, because we were in your power. Did you know
not that Allah knew everything and that our knowledge would
be evidence against you?"
Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an
(Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur’an, Amanna Corporation, 1989.)

Their ears and
their eyes and their skins will testify against themselves (Surah 41:21). In the
afterlife the vibrations that will flow from various points of the sinner's body
will testify to all the deeds, both good and bad.
And (make mention of)
the day when the
enemies of Allah are gathered unto the Fire,
They are driven on till, when they reach
it, their ears and their eyes and their skins testify
against them as to what they used to do.
And they say unto their skins: Why
testify ye against us? They say: Allah hath given us speech Who giveth
speech to all things, and Who created you at the first, and
unto Whom ye are returned.
Ye did not hide yourselves lest your ears
and your eyes and your skins should testify against you,
But ye deemed that Allah knew not much of
what ye did.
That, your thought which ye did think
about your Lord, hath ruined you; And ye find yourselves
(this day) among the lost.
surah 41:19-23 Fussilat
(M. Pickthall, The Meaning of the
Glorious Quran.)
And on the day that the enemies of Allah
shall be brought together to the fire, then they shall be
formed into groups.
Until when they come to it, their ears
and their eyes and their skins shall bear witness against
them as to what they did.
And they shall say to their skins: Why
have you borne witness against us?
They shall say: Allah Who makes
everything speak has made us speak,
And He created you at first, and to Him
you shall be brought back.
And you did not veil yourselves lest your
ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness
against you,
But you thought that Allah did not know
most of what you did.
And that was your (evil)
thought which
you entertained about your Lord,
That has tumbled you down into perdition,
so are you become of the lost ones.
surah 41:19-23
Fussilat
(Muhammed Shakir, The Holy Qur'an)
"This is the Hell of which ye were
(repeatedly) warned!
Embrace ye the (Fire) this Day, for that
ye (persistently) rejected (Truth)." (4011)
That Day shall We set a seal on their mouths.
But their hands will speak to Us,
And their feet
will bear witness to all that they did.
surah 36: 63-65 Ya Sin
"4011. The ungodly will now
be dumbfounded. They will be unable to speak or offer any
defence. (The consequences of all acts, which follow
according to Allah’s Law, are, in Quranic language,
attributed to Allah.) But their silence will not matter.
Their own hands and feet will speak against them.
"Hands and feet" in this connection are symbolical
of all the instruments for action which they were given in
this life, including their faculties and opportunities. The
same extended meaning is to be understood for
"eyes" in the following verse. Cf. also
41:20-21, where eyes, ears, and skins are all mentioned as
bearing witness against such as misused them."
Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur’an, Amanna Corporation, 1989.)
This is hell which ye were promised (if
ye followed him).
Burn therein this day for that ye
disbelieved.
This day We seal up their mouths,
And
their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as
to what they used to earn.
surah 36:63-65 Ya Sin
(M. Pickthall, Meaning of the
Glorious Quran)
This is the hell with which you were
threatened.
Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.
On that day We will set a seal upon their
mouths,
And their hands shall speak to Us,
And
their feet shall bear witness of what they earned.
surah 36:63-65 Ya Sin
(Muhammed Shakir, The Holy Qur'an)
I
do call to witness [5809]
the Resurrection Day
And I do call to witness the self-reproaching Spirit. [5810]
surah
75:1-2 Al Qiyamah (The Resurrection)
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Quran, 1989)
"5809. Here the point to be enforced is understood: . . . This appeal is
made to two considerations: (1) That every act has to be accounted for, and
evil must have its recompense at the Resurrection; and (2) that man’s own
spirit has a conscience which would reproach him of sin, if he did not
suppress the inner voice.
5810. Our doctors postulate three states or stages of the development of the
human soul: (1) Ammarah (12:53), which is prone to evil, and, if not checked
and controlled, will lead to perdition; (2) Lawwarah, as here, which feels
conscious of evil, and resists it, asks for Allah’s grace and pardon after
repentance and tries to amend; it hopes to reach salvation; (3) Mutma’innah
(89:27), the highest stage of all, when it achieves full rest and
satisfaction."
Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy
Quran, 1989)
So, again, to understand this extremely important opening lines
of Al Qiyamah (The Resurrection) we have to look at the translation of
Abdullah Yusuf Ali who, along with all other Islamic scholars, are completely
in the dark about the reality of Resurrection. Though they try their best to
interpret it within the context of the Doomsday scenario, one cannot help
noticing that it just doesn’t make sense. Even the worst doomsday fears and
horrifying resurrection scenario of the Islamic theologians fail to suppress
the sense of spiritual awakening, hope, renewal, salvation and Divine
Intervention. In other words, it reveals a new state of communion between
Allah and the True Believers (Al-Mu’minun) leading to their final evolution
into the eternal spirit!
Thus,
in order to comprehend the opening lines of surah Al-Qiyamah, the
critical words "witness" and "self-reproaching Spirit"
must be first understood.
"witness
1 an attesting of a fact, statement, etc,; evidence; testimony
2 a person who saw, or can give a firsthand account of something 3
a person who testifies in court 4 a person called upon to
observe a transaction, signature, etc, in order to testify concerning it if it
is later held in question 5 something providing or serving
as evidence — vt. 1 to testify to 2 to serve as
evidence of 3 to act as witness of, often, in proof thereof,
signing a statement that one has done so 4 to be present at, see
personally.
"reproach vt. 1 to
accuse of and blame for a fault so as to make feel ashamed; rebuke; reprove 2
to bring shame and disgrace upon; be a cause of discredit to — n. 1
shame, disgrace, discredit, or blame, or source, cause, or occasion of this 2
a blaming or reproving; rebuke 3 an expression of blame or reproof 4
an object of blame, censure, scorn, etc."
Webster New World Dictionary
(Webster
New World Dictionary, Third College Ed., Simon & Schuster, Inc. 1988.)
The Call to witness requires individuals to attest facts, statement, evidence;
testimony. It may demand a person who saw, or can give a
firsthand account of something, which in this case is about the Resurrection.
A witness is called upon to observe an act, in order to testify concerning it
if it is later held in question. The opening lines of surah Al-Qiyamah calls
upon the Believers to witness the Resurrection!
Reproaching
requires someone to act as a teacher, judge, advisor or peer, correcting
mistakes made by others. There is interaction between two parties (His Spirit
and the individual) and the subsequent self-introspection results in a feeling
of remorse, disgrace and shame for the wrongdoer. His Guide or
self-reproaching Spirit must be from within for otherwise it makes
little sense.
The
Spirit within is guiding the True Believers (Al-Mu’minun)
and correcting them whenever they go astray. This rebuke comes
in the form of obstruction or 'catch' on the corresponding finger
tip. Only those
experiencing this evolutionary spiritual growth know how it
feels when they deviate from the Straight Path and receive a
warning from the Spirit about the particular fault, which
registers on the corresponding finger. They surely feel ashamed
of themselves for still committing faults, despite knowing
thoroughly in heart, mind and soul that Resurrection is in
progress.
“Revelation
is . . . presented in three aspects: (1) it explains
things, the attributes of Allah, our own position, and
the spiritual world around; (2) it directs us to right
conduct and keeps us from evil; and (3) to those who
have Faith and accept its guidance, it gives the Good
News of forgiveness, purification, and the achievement
of salvation.”

Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur'an
|
|
|
Has
any of the religious prisoners ever been rebuked by Allah’s
Spirit for the numerous faults they commit daily? Is this the
reason Abdullah Yusuf Ali never makes any mention or translation
that the Believers of Qiyamah will experience His Spirit guiding them
as to
their faults and misdeeds which register on their
fingertips, hands, feet, head and other parts of the body. Does
he mention that the Believers will
declare to the rest of humanity that is it indeed Qiyamah, and
that they must witness the self-reproaching Spirit of Allah? Who
then guides him and his forty Defrauders (Al-Mutaffin)
to hide such critical facts from the Ummah — Allah or Iblis?
But
these shrewd scholars cannot camouflage Allah's Revelation despite all
their clever conjecture to mutilate His Good News of
Resurrection, the Night of Power and Fate (Al Qadr), into a fire and brimstone apocalyptic End of the
World at the Day of Noise and Clamou (Al Qariah).
By
the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs;
By the promised Day (of Judgment);6053
By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness; —
6054
surah
85:1-3 Al Buruj (The Constellation)
"6053. The Day of
Judgement, when the Sinner will have
to give an account of every deed, open or hidden, is not merely
a matter a matter of speculation. It is definitely promised in
revelation, and will inevitably come to pass. Woe then to the
Sinners for their crimes.
6054. The literal meaning is clear, but its metaphorical
application has been explained in a variety of ways by different
Commentators. The words are fairly comprehensive, and should, I
think, be understood in connection with Judgement. There the
Witnesses may be: (1) the Prophets (3:81); Allah Himself (3:81,
and 10:61); the Recording Angels (50:21): the Sinner’s own
misused limbs (24:24); his record of deeds (17:14); or the
Sinner himself (17:14). The subject of the witness may be the
deed or crime, or the Sinner against whom the testimony cries
out. The appeal to these things means that the Sinner cannot
possibly escape the consequences of his crime. He should repent,
seek Allah’s Mercy, and amend his life."
Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur’an, Amanna Corporation, 1989.)
"Man’s
insolence leads to two results: (1) self-destruction through
self-misleading; (2) a false example of false guidance to
others. The righteous man must therefore test human example or
human guidance by the question, "Is there Allah’s
guidance behind this?" And visible light should be thrown
on it by the question, "Does it lead to
righteousness?" . . . The usual trick of the ungodly is to
refuse to face the Truth. If they are placed in a corner, they
deny what is obvious to reasonable men and turn their backs."
Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'an
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur’an, Amanna Corporation, 1989.)
“All
our duties to our fellow creatures are referred to
service and faith we own to Allah. But in the matter
of truth an appeal is made to our own self-respect as
responsible beings: is it becoming that we should be
false to our own word, to ourselves? And then we are
reminded that the utmost we can gain by falsifying
Allah’s word or being untrue to ourselves is but a
miserable price. We get at best something very paltry
as the price for selling our very souls.”
|
Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The
Holy Qur'an
|
|
|
Perhaps Abdullah Yusuf Ali and his
forty Thieves of Truth should themselves answer their own question to the Ummah regarding
their interpretation of critical parts of the Qur'an, especially
on esoteric issues beyond their comprehension or experience: "Is there Allah’s
guidance behind this?"
May the Ummah
reflect again on the irony of Yusuf Ali's enlightenment, and the
precipitous fall and eternal damnation that awaits all who defy
the Good News of Al-Qiyamah: "And then we are
reminded that the utmost we can gain by falsifying
Allah’s word or being untrue to ourselves is but a
miserable price. We get at best something very paltry
as the price for selling our very souls."

“The

surah 41:19-23 Fussilat (Expounded)
"When
Kundalini awakening and
Self-Realization has occurred, a flow of energy in the form
of cool vibrations starts flowing from the hands. This is
what is signified in the above passage. Here Prophet
Muhammad is talking of the coming Time — Time of Resurrection — which is in fact the present Age of
Aquarius or Kundalini Awakening."

“The
Chakras and the Subtle System
Inside every human being there is a network of
nerves and sensory organs that interprets the outside
physical world. At the same time, within us resides a
subtle system of channels (nadis) and centers of
energy (chakras) which look after our physical,
intellectual, emotional and spiritual being.
At the base of the spine, in the triangular bone
called sacrum (the ancient civilizations knew that
there is something sacred about this bone) resides the
most subtle spiritual energy, dormant in most of us,
called Kundalini. Self-Realization is the awakening of
this energy through the central channel, piercing each
of the energy centers and emerging at the top of the
head (fontanelle bone area) as a gentle
"fountain" of coolness. The word fontanelle
itself means "little fountain" which shows
again the ancient knowledge about this phenomenon of
Self-Realization.
Though Self-Realization was the goal of all spiritual
traditions of the world, very few were able to achieve
it. In these modern times, Shri Mataji has made it an
en-masse phenomenon through the spontaneous awakening
of the Kundalini that takes place in Sahaja Yoga.
Each of the seven chakras has several spiritual
qualities. These qualities are intact within us, and
even though they might not always be manifest, they
can never be destroyed. When the Kundalini is
awakened, these qualities start manifesting
spontaneously and express themselves in our life.
Thus, through regular meditation, we become
automatically very dynamic, creative, confident and at
the same time very humble, loving and compassionate.
It is a process which starts to develop by itself when
the Kundalini rises and starts to nourish our chakras.”

“Effect
of Combination of Badha (catches) in some of the
Chakras
However, more often than not the problems are caused
by a combination of catches in different chakras.
These catches could be either induced by a
catch/problem of one chakra in another or by external
causes. For example roving eyes or bad thoughts,
though are supposed to cause a catch at Agnya chakra
but also disturb purity of thoughts and hence causes a
catch in Mooladhara chakra. Thus a problem in eyes
could be cured only by clearing the Mooldhara and
Agnya fully.”

“In
this world good and evil are mixed together. But then
they will be sorted out, and each grade of good and
evil will be sorted out. So they will proceed in
companies to receive judgement. And they will be shown
the exact import of everything that they had thought,
said, or done, in this life of probation, however they
may have concealed or misinterpreted it in this life.
Everything will be considered in taking the account,
and the account will convince the persons themselves.”

“The
Arabic word for "teach" and
"knowledge" are from the same root. It is
impossible to produce in a Translation the complete
orchestral harmony of the word "read",
"teach", "pen" (which implies
reading, writing, books, study, research),
"knowledge" (including science, self
knowledge, spiritual understanding), and
"proclaim", an alternative meaning of the
word for "to read". This proclaiming or
reading implies not only the duty of blazoning forth
Allah’s message, as going with the prophetic office,
but also the duty of promulgation and wide
dissemination of the Truth by all those who read and
understand it. The comprehensive meaning of qara’
refers not only to a particular person and
occasion but also gives a universal direction. And
this kind of comprehensive meaning, as we have seen,
runs throughout the Qur’an — for those who will
understand.”

“A
man’s actual personal religion depends upon many
things: his personal psychology, the background of his
life, his hidden or repressed feelings, tendencies, or
history (which psychoanalysis tries to unravel), his
hereditary dispositions or antipathies, and all the
subtle influences of his education and his enviroment.
The task before the man of God is: (1) to use any of
these which can subserve the higher ends; (2) to
purify as have been misused; (3) to introduce new
ideas and modes of looking at things, and (4) to
combat what is wrong and cannot be mended — all for
the purpose of leading to the truth and gradually
letting in spiritual light where there was darkness
before. If that is not done with discretion and the
skill of a spiritual Teacher, there may be not only a
reaction of obstinacy, but an unseemingly show of
dishonour to the true God and His Truth, and doubts
would spread among the weaker brethren whose faith is
shallow and infirm. What happens to individuals is
truly collective of nations or groups of people. They
think in their self-obsession that their own ideas are
right.”
