Dear Alex,
Let us examine again what Shri Mataji said on September
28, 1979:
"Be careful about it because Kalki is on and once this
Power comes on
you, you would not know how to hide yourself. Not only
those who are
Sahaja Yogis but this I am telling to the whole world
today: BE
CAREFUL. DO NOT TRY TO HARM OTHERS. DO NOT TRY TO TAKE
ADVANTAGE OF OTHERS AND DO NOT TRY TO SHOW OFF YOUR OWN
POWER."
These were the early days when Shri Mataji was brutally
honest about
Her Advent and message to humanity. i think Her message
is directed
more towards the followers of false gurus, corrupted
religions, and
other powerful institutions than the few hundred SYs. It
was a
warning to humanity to be careful as the Last Judgment
had commenced, and would end with the Second Coming of
the Kalki Avataar. This was a reminder to refrain from
exploiting fellow humans, a warning that fell on deaf
ears. (It is possible there may have been SYs claiming
some sort of divinity, or inclination to boss over and
lead others. There have been a number of such cases and
we still continue to have such characters around.)
Her warning has nothing to do with the powers SYs have
been endowed - vibrations, ability to raise Kundalini,
give Self-realization, check
chakras. No SY can boast about such powers. They are no
big deal
since even a child can do the same. BTW, you ARE
supposed to feel
vibrations if your Mother Kundalini is taking care of
you and guiding
you away from negativity. You, Alex, are definitely
connected with
the Divine. So in no way are you showing off. On the
contrary, such
statements help to establish faith in new seekers and
inspire
established SYs like me to plod on against the odds.
i have no idea of the Sahaj Vidya site being edited to
ward off
people seeking powers for the sake of being powerful.
There is
absolutely no chance of anyone taking advantage of the
Shakti -
utterly no way! But if you are sincere in heart and
humbly seek these
powers for Self-realization and moksa, and not to show
off, Shri
Bindu-Mandala-vasini Devi* is more than ready to help
you:
"Up till now many saints, sages have known and revealed
about this
Shakti. Whatever they could not describe in prose, they
tried to
convey through poetry. Whatever description was not
possible to put
in words they composed different names of the Devi and
described. We
all know this and many people also know the meaning of
this. But one
thing they perhaps do not know is that every human being
has all
these Shaktis, powers dormant in them, and they can
awaken them.
These dormant powers are eternal and limitless."
SYs have just begun to scratch the surface and i doubt
they truly
understand what Shri Mataji is really talking about. All
i can say
is "Tat Twam Asi". How long will it take to awaken the
dormant,
eternal and limitless powers of the Shakti within to
realize this
Highest Truth?
