i have copied a post regarding the Shakti to open the minds
of those
SYs who roar like lions in private but squeak like mice in
public.
By this i mean most SYs proclaim and revere Her as the Adi
Shakti
during pujas/meditation but quickly reduce Her as a great
subtle
system teacher in public/internet.

Subject: Is Shaktism 'Special'?
Thanks, Msbauju:
Another lovely quote. But I wonder, could these observations
be
applied to any conception of the Divine, or are they more or
less
specific to Devi and Her worship?
Chidananda says, "Without Her grace, most difficult it is to
get an
opportunity to think of Her, to remember Her, to speak of
Her, and
to utter Her glorious names, calling upon Her as Mother."
Ramakrishna says that only "through Her grace [does a
person's mind]
turn toward Herself."
But is all this just the typical sentiment of many faiths
around the
world—that its own adherents are somehow special,
"chosen"
people? Or is this something entirely different?
I've been told by many knowledgeable and experienced sadhaks
that
Devi chooses very, very few to worship Her as Supreme—
rather than
simply as consort of some form of Vishnu or Siva (a theory
seemingly
supported by the proportional tiny-ness of Shaktism compared
to the
other major schools of Hinduism).
But I wonder why this is? Why do these two great sages
quoted above
agree that it "most difficult" to "become devoted to the
Lotus Feet
of the Divine Mother"? Why does the "grace" that "turns the
mind
toward Herself" apparently descend upon so few?
Just curious, in case anyone wishes to share their thoughts
...

Regarding WCASY, we have been told that "it may take a
couple of
years for the Council to reach its cruising speed." (BTW,
does
anyone know what is the master plan and blueprint for
success?) In
this age of instant mass communications and advanced
technology it
all sounds more like a trundling bullock-cart than a roaring
Porche
911. If past years and effort to attract seekers can be used
as a
yardstick to measure success my infamous 8023 AD
mathematical
calculation is more fact than fiction.
Maybe they should take notes from members of WCAI (World
Council For The Advancement Of IAMS) who have advanced Amma
in proportion that SYs have balked. When it comes to
announcing Amma as the Divine Mother and Adi Shakti they
beat WCASY hands down. Now where will these people be in a
couple of years it will take WCASY to reach its cruuiiiising
speed? i sure hope bulls can run faster in future .........
and sustain that pace to leave the Porche in the dung.

Subject: And SYs
like Yogi Mahajan and others think my children are crazy.
Amma and her organization continues to grow, as the figures
show
below, all based on a single vision when she was young:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/adishakti_sahaja_yoga/message/1924
Traffic Rank for amma.org
Traffic rank:
Today
1 week Avg. 3
months Avg. 3
months change.
115,687 147,003
190,014
+ 113,809
The above is the trafiic ranking for Amma which shows a huge
gain of
113,809. This rapid rise has been sustained ever since a
film about
her premiered at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. The quote
below is
taken from Amma's website:
"Darshan—The Embrace", a film on the life of Amma has been
officially selected for showcasing at the prestigious 2005
Cannes
Film Festival. Jan Kounen, an award winning filmmaker who
was born
in Netherlands and is based in France, directed the film.
Manuel De
La Roche of France, is the producer. The film festival now
in its
58th year is taking place 11—22 of May 2005. Darshan—The
Embrace will be screened on 18th May 2005 at 10:15pm.
Jan Kounen and his crew began shooting the footage for the
movie in
2003 during Amritavarsham50, (news) Amma's 50th Birthday
celebration
in Kochi. Afterwards, Kounen and his team traveled with Amma
on Her
Indian and International tours in order to complete the
movie.
Jan Kounen has several feature films to his credit,
including 2003
Blue Berry—A 'mystical western' that starred Vincent
Cassel,
Juliette Luweis and Micheal Madison.
"I want to present the portrait of a women, who as a young
girl had
a vision which made people feel she was going crazy. I want
to
document the journey of that girl into her present avatar
as 'mma'", Kounen said.
http://www.amritapuri.org/news/05/darshan.php
And foolish SYs like Yogi Mahajan and others have spread
ugly
rumours that my children are crazy. Amma's single vision has
been
used by her devotees to claim the title of Divine Mother and
Adi
Shakti. Ignorant SYs have demonized my children for visiting
the
Shakti within their own Sahasraras daily for years. How more
dumb
can these murmuring souls be?
Amma's lone vision is nothing compared to the Ultimate
Reality of
visiting the Shakti within thousands of times over more than
a
decade. But ignorant SYs judged these children were
possessed and
ceaselessly gossiped that my family is starved for
attention.
Well, they are all now reaping what they have sowed. We will
see
what evidence they can present to the world in their claim
that Shri
Mataji Nirmala Devi is the Adi Shakti. Or is it true they
have
nothing to show as proof? Is that why, unlike Amma's
devotees, they
do not have the conviction and faith to make such a public
claim?
But the stubborn camel will drink one day, or slowly die of
thirst
as it is becoming evident everywhere. i recently learnt that
out of
about 200,000 people given self-realization over the years
in the
Mumbai area only 100 or so have remained i.e., about a
success rate
of 0.0002%. i would not want to 'insult' the Adi Shakti by
quoting
North American figures. Maybe now we can realize why no
figures were
given in the recent hyped-up NA newsletter to commence a
spiritual
crusade. As they say, the devil is in the details. It will
be
irresponsible of me to claim that the same devil influenced
influential SYs to demonized my children.
Perhaps, after all, it is just that pesky negativity that
even the
entire crop of Mexican lemons have failed to remove year
after year.
Is there any solution in sight?
Jai Shri Mataji!
