According to Manuela Dunn Mascetti and Peter Lorie there are numerous such verses of Nostradamus that indicate the fall of the Roman Catholic Church. (No line for line interpretation was given.) However, despite the clarity and directness of this verse that explicitly predicts the end of the Catholic Church, they do not interpret as such for reasons unknown. They also made no mention of the "someone with a sharp tongue" who is not only going to penetrate its evil body but also enter its lifeblood and paralyze vital nerves with harsh Truth.

Instead, they say that this quatrain implies there will probably be a transformation, i.e., this outdated and monolith Catholic institution will change its policies to accommodate the changing world. But this will not be the case. The Church, its lifeblood and substance, will be completely destroyed for God Almighty has sealed its fate. The seat of Satan has to be annihilated before the nations can be healed. God, His Holy Spirit and Lord Jesus, not the pope and his henchmen, must rule supreme in the Millennium of the Spirit. The Truth must set Christians free forever of the external Idols.

Oh vast Rome your ruin approaches,

This sentence is as clear as it is foreboding. The vast empire of the Catholic Church, way past its zenith, is definitely in decline and no force on Earth will erase its devilish past that is now becoming common knowledge. No institution tortured and killed more humans that the Church. The depth of human misery and pain inflicted on the human race by the satanic siblings of the Church has no parallel in human history. Genocide is an understatement, a mild word, to express its unprecedented atrocities. The most frightening aspect of this unequaled barbarity is that its was carried with the clear conscience of men claiming to represent Lord Jesus and God. Catholics may sleep in peace, blocking out the monstrous past from their conscience. Even the latest worldwide reports of atrocities committed in their churches does little:

"Last year, a report commissioned by the Church said more than 4,000 US Roman Catholic priests had faced sexual abuse allegations in the last 50 years in cases involving more than 10,000 children, mostly boys." (BBC July 6, 2005)

But the fact will always remain that the Church is an Evil Empire, no matter the denial and lack of soul-searching. The collective amnesia of history and Truth sure brings great relief and comfort to hundreds of millions. It also fulfils the scriptural prophecy that Satan will deceive humankind. What is a better camouflage than the Church?

Today, as in the dark past, Church-selected soul traders who barter with God for their salvation hold innocent humans ransom. In return for their services they continue filling the Church coffers with obscene wealth, now running into the billions of dollars. Bonds, stocks and property of the Vatican grow in size and diversification as their Devil-fearing donors discard fat wads of cash into its vaults. Everyone is happy and smiling in the Catholic paradise brochures — the salvation seekers, the priests, the Pope . . . and, according to them, even God!

Nonetheless, the siblings of Satan still continue to devour souls by declaring that outside the Church no salvation is available. One of the greatest falsehood devised by the Diabolical One is that of "infallibility." Millions of mesmerized zombies still stand in awe and reverence to their Papal Prince of Darkness, for "the support and guidance of the Holy Spirit, springing from the fact that the pope is the Christ’s Vicar on Earth" is the central, most important character of Catholicism — a stark testimony of his ungodly powers. Even history is false as far as these religious prisoners are concerned. The entire papal history is that of blunders, lies, falsehood, and outright ignorance. Where was the Holy Spirit throughout the dark history of the papacy? Where is the Holy Spirit as these lines are being written? We stand on the conviction that Truth cannot be contradicted. We are absolutely convinced that the Grace of God and His Spirit descends on men who seek Him, and they are blessed with the Truth that can never ever be contradicted. We are also absolutely convinced that the grace of the Devil descends on those who claim to be Vicars of Christ and their exclusive representatives on Earth, and they are deluded with the falsehood that absolutely destroys them in the end.

Perhaps Catholic should be reminded again of just one historical fact, a centuries-old teaching of the Church that was sworn as the absolute truth by every infallible pope after infallible pontiff after infallible Vicar:

"When Galileo touched the Gospels and admitted his ‘heretical depravity’ in the heart of Rome, it was a solemn moment in the history of the church. Only the trial of Jesus before Pilate can surpass it in gravity.

The Founder of Modern Science, at the behest of the Roman Inquisition, was forced to affirm, in accordance with the Catholic faith, that the earth is the motionless centre of the universe. A scholar who, in any list of the world’s great men, would figure in the first twenty, was condemned by a group of clerics, none of whom would figure in the first million. With Copernicus on the Index and Galileo condemned by the Inquisition, Catholic astronomers now had to choose between being good Catholics and being good members of their profession. By all the normal criteria, the immobility of the earth was Catholic doctrine. It was held by every pope, bishop and theologian for centuries. Nor was it merely implicit. When the teaching was tested, when Copernicus and Galileo cast doubt upon it, the reigning pope and popes for centuries afterwards explicitly confirmed it with the plenitude of their power. And they were wrong. The earth does move, however many popes denied it, saying it contradicts Scriptures and the faith. If Catholics today claim this was never really Catholic doctrine, can one ever be sure of any Catholic doctrine? . . .

After eight years of house arrest, Galileo Galilei died in January 1642 . . . Pope Urban VIII was not yet finished with his friend . . . the body of the greatest scientist of his age was interred for almost a hundred years in the cellar of the bell tower in Santa Croce. Urban, wrong on almost everything, was at least right in the reason he gave for refusing him decent exequies: Galileo by his sins had given rise to ‘the greatest scandal in Christendom’...

In the early 1980s, John Paul II, was heard to say something about ‘rehabilitating Galileo’, though to date nothing has come of it. After three and a half centuries, Rome is in no hurry to apologize."

Not your walls, but your lifeblood and substance;

According to Peter de Rosa priests are the pontiff’s primary concern. A 1971 study commissioned by the Sacred Congregation of the Faith, leaked to the press, revealed that from 1963 to 1969 over 8,000 priests had asked to be dispensed from their vows. About 3,000 others had left without waiting for permission. The study estimated that over the next five years 20,000 would leave. The estimate proved to be far too conservative. Matters were worse in countries that pontiffs had relied on for providing missionaries. Holland, for example, used to produce over 300 priests a year. Now, ordinations are almost as rare as mountains. In Ireland, at the end of 1987, there were 6,000 priests and over 1,000 ex-priests. In the United States of America there are reckoned to be 17,000 ex-priests. The average age of those who remain is a startlingly high 54. The future, too, looks bleak. Over the last twenty years, the number of seminarians in the States has fallen from 50,000 to 12,000. "All the indicators suggest a worldwide community in Napoleanic retreat. The church is still teaching but fewer and fewer are listening."

We are living in the 21st century where humans have easy access to vast information, and the freedom to research, cross-examine and expose untruth. The information technology empowers hundreds of millions instant access to the works of such authors. Gone are the dark ages where religious regimes could muzzle voices of dissent by threat of torture and death, and keep illiterate masses in the dark. Gone also are the days where humankind could be shielded from the Messengers of other existing religions. We are now living in a global village where transmigration keeps the world in a state of ever increasing flux. Humans are now constantly exposed to the religious beliefs of their fellow humans. Organized religion will be the one of the first fatalities of this Information Age as seekers of the Spirit re-examine various scriptures and discover that all demand that they seek the Kingdom of God within, a process that all religious institutions are far from delivering. The surety that it is now Resurrection Time is the deathblow to them. The seekers of Truth are not going to wait for these religious dinosaurs to wake up from their spiritual sleep and plod towards this Kingdom within, something that is yet a mystery despite millennia. They are on the brink of extinction.

Both these quatrains relate to the fall and demise of the Catholic Church. Celestial signs will precede this fall but the pontiff will not change country as interpreted. Popes will be feared for their bad religion as much as the Devil for its evil empire, and the younger generation will flee from the Church likes bats out of hell. This will take time as Christian fanatics will first refuse to believe the colossal web of deception surrounding the Pope and will rally round him. Over the years they will not be able to stem the relentless tide of Truth. The Catholic Church will be destroyed as prophesied in Revelation. These Princes of Carnal Life who pretended to be Vicars of Christ will rule no more — great monarch be forewarned!

Castor and Pollux are in Greek mythology the heavenly twins who protect seaman. Here they refer to Peter and Paul, and their ship is the Church. Peter protested to Shri Jesus about his loyalty when Jesus warned His disciples that they would abandon Him (Matt. 26:33-34; Mark 14:29; Luke 22:33.) Peter’s hypocrisy, cowardice and betrayal becomes apparent when he denies Shri Jesus’ three times (Matt. 26:69-75; Mark 14:66-73; Luke 22:54-62; John 18:25-27.) as prophesied by the Saviour, "Verily I say unto thee, that this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice" (Mark 14:30). And Shri Jesus had also warned earlier that Satan would take him! "Get away behind me, Satan; thou art an offence to me, for thy mind is not on the things that are God" (Matthew 16:23 & Mark 8:33). Yet Peter managed to be the first pope of Christendom.

According to Peter de Rosa the title ‘Bishop of Rome’ bestowed on Peter does not tally with facts and other matters are far from clear:

• How long did Peter live in Rome? A late fourth-century report says twenty-five years, but there is no historical basis for this. Today, historians indicate that Peter lived in Rome for three or four years at most.
  
  

• How could a leader or overseer of a small early Christian community be compared with a modern bishop bristling with power and jurisdiction. There is no record that he took charge of the community.
  
  

• Peter was never the bishop in Jerusalem after Jesus’ death. James, Lord Jesus' brother, was.
  
  

• There is another alarming fact. In the earliest lists of the bishops of Rome, Peter’s name was missing. For example, Iraneaus, Bishop of Lyons from 178-200 AD enumerated all the Roman bishops up to the twelfth (Eleutherius.) According to him, the first bishop of Rome was not Peter or Paul but Linus! Peter's name never appeared anywhere! The Apostolic Constitution in the year 270 also named Linus, appointed by St Paul, as the first bishop of Rome. After Linus came Clement, chosen by Peter. And the mystery deepens. Even Eusebius, in all his writings, never once spoke of Peter as Bishop of Rome! So who appointed Peter as the first Bishop of Rome — Christ or Satan?

Paul, a cruel prosecutor of the early Christians, never met Christ.

Yet he was able to mold Christianity profoundly and now occupies overwhelming prominence in the Bible, his gain proportional to the Savior’s loss!

Vawsttracts of the Christian forest have been stripped and supplanted by the duo, and Shri Jesus relegated to scarce virgin pockets that are far and few between. Numerous books published since the release of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1991 portray Paul as a liar and traitor. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi has said that he was an evil man. Others have found his evil intentions in the Bible itself!

These are the satanic origins to the birth of the papal empire. A billion Catholics sleep in a serene slumber, assured that their mighty popes have the power to move heaven and earth. The balance 700 million non-Catholics also sleep with equal ease. One billion, seven hundred million Christians refuse to acknowledge the satanic birth of their religion. The Resurrection assures that you will now toss and turn in your sleep.

Both Peter and Paul are regarded as the pillars of Christianity — towering icons of hypocrisy, cowardice, betrayal, persecution, lies, deceit and hidden evil! Peter are Paul are more than ill omens for the Catholic Church; they are the twin death knells that have begun tolling around the world announcing the funeral of the Church. They are the harbingers of the death to your Evening Empire — great pontiff be forewarned!

Peter, the first Pope of the Catholic Church, was overpowered by the Devil and thus was able to deny Jesus not once but thrice! In spite of the Saviour’s dire warning of the impeding arrival of Satan no one heeded Him. Why? If during the time of Shri Jesus’ itself the Devil had overpowered Peter and made him deny Jesus thrice what hope was there of the Prince of Darkness ever leaving Rome? Peter was a excellent receptacle, a warm womb from where the Beast incubated and nourished itself by devouring countless souls that surrendered to the Church. The Christian world allowed the Diabolical One to penetrate their religion from the very beginning itself — through Peter. And the Evil One never left ever since and sustained His satanic rule through subsequent popes — till today! All churches that trace their origins from Peter have darkness in them — history is the witness to this Truth! Fools and fundamentalists, open your eyes and ears and see the work of the Evil One in your houses of worship.
