Question 1

Does biology prove that the universe is female or that Earth is conscious?

Accepted Answer

No. Biology can describe gestation, developmental pathways, ordinary maternal mitochondrial inheritance, and cellular symbiosis. The article treats any link from those facts to a Divine Mother or Earth consciousness as theological interpretation rather than empirical proof.

Question 2

What does the Dao De Jing mean by calling Dao a mother?

Accepted Answer

The Dao De Jing uses maternal and generative language for an unnamed source of the ten thousand things. The article reads this as a metaphysical grammar of origination and nurture, not as a simple claim that Dao is a personal female deity.

Question 3

Does John identify the Paraclete with a future female figure?

Accepted Answer

No. John 14–16 identifies the Paraclete as the Holy Spirit. Comparisons between the Paraclete, a World Mother, or Shri Mataji are presented in the article as contemporary confessional proposals rather than the plain meaning of the Johannine text.

Question 4

Why does the article qualify claims about prehistoric goddesses?

Accepted Answer

Prehistoric anthropomorphic figurines are real archaeological materials, but their meanings are debated. The article treats universal Mother-Goddess or matriarchal narratives as modern and contested interpretations, not archaeological consensus.
