“Today I want to tell you about the Agnya Chakra, about Jesus Christ, who advanced to this center of Agnya Chakra where you see this red mark (bindi on forehead). Behind that, inside the brain on the crossing of the optic chiasma, is this subtle center where this great Deity is placed through his crucifixion. And through His Resurrection He has created this space for us to enter into the Kingdom of God which is placed within us, it is not without.”

“As soon as the Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within) was opened the whole atmosphere was filled with tremendous Chaitanya. And there was tremendous Light in the sky. And the whole thing came on the Earth — as if a torrential rain or a waterfall — with such tremendous force, as if I was unaware and got stupefied. The happening was so tremendous and so unexpected that I was stunned and totally silent at the grandeur. I saw the Primordial Kundalini rising like a big furnace, and the furnace was very silent but a burning appearance it had, as if you heat up metal, and it had many colors. In the same way, the Kundalini showed up as a furnace, like a tunnel, as you see these plants you have here for coal burning that create electricity. And it stretched like a telescope and came out one after another, Shoo! Shoo! Shoo! Just like that. And the Deities came and sat on their seats, golden seats, and then they lifted the whole of the head like a big dome and opened it, and then this torrential rain complete drenched Me. I started seeing all that and got lost in the Joy. It was like an artist seeing his own creation, and I felt the Joy of great fulfillment. After coming out of this beautiful experience I looked around and saw human beings so blind and I became absolutely silent, and desired that I should get the cups to fill the Nectar.”

A Commentary on the Gospel of Thomas: From Interpretations to the Interpreted
20 36,26-33a

(1) The disciples said to Jesus:
“Tell us whom the kingdom of heaven is like!
(2) He said to them: It is like a mustard seed.
(3) is the smallest of all seeds.
(4) But when it falls on cultivated soil,
it produces a large branch (and)
it (the branch) becomes shelter
for the birds of the sky.”

The hearers, who in the preceding saying were exhorted to become disciples, are now addressed as already being disciples. A parable known earlier only from Mark 4:30-32 par. Is presented here with one significant change: a large branch is mentioned. Like the large, fine fish from logion 8 and great pearl from logion 79, this image stresses the special ability and mission of those who are great because they know their inner divine core, because they are true disciples.

The parable concentrates on the contrast between the present small and seemingly insignificant status of the kingdom of heaven (a Jewish term for the kingdom of God also used in the Gospel of Matthew) and its future (eschatological) full reality as home for human beings (shelter of the birds of skyliterally of heavens, as also in Mark 4:32). According to Matt 6:26 par. (Q) the birds of heaven serve as one of the models of the life of Jesus' followers.

Jean-Yves Leloup, The Gospel of Thomas
LOGION 20

The disciples asked Yeshua:
Tell us, what is the Kingdom of Heaven like?
He answered them:
It is like a grain of mustard,
the tiniest of all seeds.
When it falls upon well-plowed ground,
it becomes a great tree,
where birds of heaven will come to rest.

(CF. MATT 13:31-32; MARK 4:30-32; LUKE 13:18-19.)

The smallest of seeds can engender the greatest of trees. One human may awaken, and a new humanity can be born.

This is a principle of all beginnings, and of human beginnings in particular. Something that is unnoticed, infinitesimal in size, contains the coded information for growth. The oak is contained within the acorn.

But as this gospel has already pointed out, the ground must be favorable and the soil well plowed. Otherwise, the seed of divine life (sperma theou) planted in each of us will not be able to grow and make us into a great tree that can shelter the birds of heaven.

Jean-Yves Leloup, The Gospel of Thomas
Inner Traditions (2005) p. 96

Richard Valantasis, The Gospel of Jesus
20. The disciples said to Jesus: Tell us what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. He replied: It is like a mustard seed, the smallest of all. However, when it falls into worked ground it sends out a large stem, and it becomes a shelter for the birds of heaven.

Mustard is a weed, not a crop; it is a colonizing plant that quikly takes over newly broken ground. Thomas's description is botanic correct; the seeds of mustard fall onto worked or plowed or ground and mustard plants rise up without any human effort involved. Just as a large fish is found in a net full of small fish, or some randomly sown seed grows successfully, mustard seed falls accidentally on suitable ground and flourishes. The mustard seed can be said to be symbolic of "faith," or of "the church," or of "the Kingdom of Heaven.” These are not demonstrably false allegorical guesses, but they are explanations that are present in the original. In seeking the meaning of Jesus' sayings in Thomas, one should not automatically assume correctness of church-based or even evangelist-based speculations about their meanings.

Logion 20: The disciple said to Jesus, Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like.

Tau Malachi, The Gnostic Gospel of St. Thomas
Verse 20

The disciple said to Jesus, Tell us what the kingdom of heaven is like.
He said to them, It is like a mustard seed. It is the smallest of all seeds.
But when it falls on tilled soil, it produces a great plant and becomes a shelter for the birds of the sky.

Perhaps now the Lord might say, It is like a quantum leap. A quantum leap is the smallest movement, not really moving at all. But when it happens under the right conditions, it produces the most radical change in consciousness and reality, so that the reality of one's experience is not at all the same and one's knowledge vastly increases. Yes, perhaps he might say this or, perhaps again, he might use the analogy of the nucleus of an atom. Nevertheless, he is speaking of the smallest thing that produces the largest transformation, saying the nature of the kingdom of heaven is like that, the smallest thing, which is the most powerful thing.

Here, once again, we have an allusion to a spiritual nuclear force that bears a most radical power of transformation, the very power of Keter everywhere in Creation secretly waiting to be realized and actualized. The Master alludes to this Supernal Light-force again and again in his teachings. It is the heart of the Divine presence and power we behold in him.

Now planting of a seed always holds the meaning of initiation. In this context, the Master is speaking of an initiation from which the Tree of Life grows and provides shelter for souls of righteous and angelic beings. When one receives initiation and instruction on how to bind the holy Sefirot to oneself, so that those streams of spiritual power are established in one's aura and subtle body, one experiences directly something of the kingdom of heaven, and angelic beings will frequent the environment of the initiate. What this means is that you have the ability to manifest the kingdom of heaven at any time you merely need to learn how to shift to a higher state of consciousness.

A shift of consciousness is, most truly, the smallest movement. Like the mustard seed it is the slightest of things, yet the affect/effect is incredible! The whole magical display of reality can completely transform in an instant. One becomes aware of the presence of God everywhere in everything, and becomes conscious of countless worlds and countless being-forces occupying the same space at the same time in a vast matrix that is completely interconnected. Now, here, I''m not proposing to say what the experience of the kingdom of heaven is, but rather attempting to give some glimpse of what one aspect of the experience might be. And I tell you, this tiny taste or suggestion is nothing compared to the actual experience, nothing at all. It is something far more, and it is contained in the most ordinary level of level. It is so ordinary and so close, no one notices the key to heavens gate!

Daren Callahan, Yoga: An Annotated Bibliography of Works in English
“In this lively, stimulating study, Judd explores the essential harmony that exists between the systems of Kundalini Yoga and the Jewish Kabbala. He begins with a careful examination of the symbolism of the serpent and chakras in Kundalini Yoga and the Tree of Life and Sefirot in the Kabbalistic tradition. The use of sound and breathing techniques described by early Jewish mystics to help the aspirant attain union with God is equated with the yogic use of mantra and pranayama and the powerful, hidden feminine force in various Kabbalistic writings in compared to the force of kundalini. After reconciling the seven chakras and ten Sefirot in a simple configuration that combines six of the Sefirot into three centers, he offers a detailed comparison of the characteristics of each chakra with the Sefirot to demonstrate how closely they resemble each other. In particular, activity in both the seventh chakra (sahasrara) and tenth sefira (Kether) carries the potential of true freedom when one awakens to the full realization of the Higher Self. Much of what is written elsewhere on the action of the Kundalini refers to only one channel, the sushumna, but Judd considers how the energy of consciousness moves through the more subtle channels of the vajroli and chitrini as well in order to probe further in his exploration of the correspondences between Kundalini Yoga and Kabbala.” 794 Judd, James N. Tom Harpur, Life after Death
“As related in my book For Christ's Sake, I can never forget the sense of illumination and of liberation that came when I fully realized for the first time that Jesus? main message and sense of mission had very little to do with saving us from sin and with proclaiming himself as the third person of the Trinity (that is, as absolute Deity) and everything to do with proclaiming the reality of the Kingdom of God. The opening verses of Mark, the earliest of the four Gospels, make this absolutely clear. Jesus came preaching the euaggelion or "good news" of God's Kingdom. The entire focus of the parables and other sayings is upon the Kingdom of God, also known as the pious synonym "the Kingdom of Heaven.” (Pious Jews used "heaven" as a way to avoid saying the name of God.) Jesus announced by word and deed that no matter what outward appearances may seem, God is in complete control of human affairs. God reigns, nurtures, heals, and finally delivers humanity into an entirely fresh dimension of being and wholeness.

It is essential to notice that the primary emphasis of Jesus' teaching about the Kingdom is not about some kind of escape from this present world with its great joys, its grievous sufferings, and its enormous challenges. Rather, his call is for a radical trust in God now, in the present moment. The Kingdom is the offer of God's loving presence with and within us today. "The Kingdom of God is within you or in your midst," he said.

Belonging to the Kingdom is not a matter of trusting some deity "above all thing" or somehow "out there.” It is about a God who is the ground and depth of the entire cosmos, and hence of each one of us. This Kingdom or Presence of God in power is both a current reality and a future or "eschatological" event. In Jesus' teaching, one enters this Kingdom by childlike trust -- not in dusty dogmas or in rigid creeds, but in the living God. Yet, at the same time, because of the very trustworthiness of this Presence, there is the assurance that one day the Kingdom will come in all its fullness. What Jesus taught his followers to pray for? "Thy will be done on earth as in heaven" will indeed be done. Sickness, pain, and death will have no more reign over humanity in this teaching. Significantly, the most prevalent metaphor of this future bliss is that of a great wedding feast. The truth described in this image is that life in the future Kingdom (itself a metaphor) will be richly celebrative, communal, and filled with all the sense of newness, adventure, and creativity that only a wedding can signify. Already we can get a foretaste here of what that "heaven" will be like.”

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and last.
Blessed are they who do His commandments, that they may have right to the Tree of Life,
And may enter in through the Gates of the City.
For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever love and makes a lie.
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto thee these things in the churches.
I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come.
And let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the Waters of Life freely.

“Today we are celebrating the opening of the Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within). On this day I must say it was a Great Happening that took place on all the humanity. It was such an achievement, which I never realized before. Now I can see that without Self-Realization it would have been impossible to talk to people.

Then this happened! I thought that how I will talk to people about it because no one would understand Me and it would be a big mistake on My part to say something about Sahasrara because even about Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within) nowhere in the scriptures something was described. It was absolutely an ambiguous description I would say where people could not even have thought there is a realm beyond Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within), and one has to enter that realm where is the Reality.

That time what I saw around Me was darkness and unless and until there are many Lights, people will never realize that how important it is to have Light.”

“Today is a great day for us, for all the Sahaja Yogis that on this day ... the Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within) was opened out. It was just a miracle I should say because I didn't think that I am at a point where it could be done. So I wanted to wait but some things happened that made Me think that it had to be opened. It was in such a situation that I felt if I delayed it anymore now it may help these false gurus to spread their nonsense all over.”

“For all of us the seekers the last work of the Divine of opening the last centre in the Great Primordial Being was done on the 5th of May, 1970. It is the greatest event of all the spiritual happenings of the Universe. It was done with great care and great attachment. It is not in the limits of human understanding how things are worked in the heavens. It is your fortune and God's Love that has worked this one.

Without this happening there could not have been a possibility to give mass Realization to people. One could have done it on one or two persons here and there, but to give such a mass awakening could not have been possible.”

When I was born I was shocked at the way people were. At that time I don't think I met many seekers ... First I thought I've come a little early ... but then I saw these horrible false gurus also throwing their charms on people and trying to control them. That made Me really, really think that now I'd better stop worrying as to what sort of people there are — let's start! And that's how the first Brahmarandhra Chedan took place in India. "Today we are celebrating the resurrection of Christ. With it we also have to celebrate the resurrection of human beings, of Sahaja Yogis, who have been resurrected as realised souls. With that we have to understand that we enter into a new awareness. He had to come down and again to show to this world that you are the eternal life, that you lead a life that is spiritual, which never perishes. You have to rise, into that new realm, which is the Realm of God Almighty, what you call the Kingdom of God.

“By saying there's no God, God doesn't disappear. He is very much there. Sahaja Yoga is the only way you can prove the existence of God and all that is said so far about all these Incarnations because the Seventh Chakra is now open. You get your Realization, and you become the spirit. It is so imminent that the Seventh Chakra (Kingdom of God within) had to be opened so that you pass from one life level to another level.”

“Without breaking the Sahasrara (Kingdom of God within) we could not have achieved the ascent en masse... To keep Sahasrara open should be very easy if the western brains could understand and be aware of your Mother. When your Mother is the Deity of Sahasrara the only way to be able to keep the Sahasrara open has to be complete surrendering. For that many ask Me," How do we do it'?”It's a very funny question. It is irrelevant. If your Sahasrara has been opened by someone, and luckily that is the Deity before you, it should be the easiest thing to surrender.

But it is not ... What is surrendering?... What do you have to surrender? A drop has to dissolve in the Ocean to become the Ocean, and a drop cannot be greater than the Ocean — can it be? So what is the surrendering? Surrendering of our conditionings, of our ego, and the artificial barriers we have built around us ...

But one should know this is the greatest of greatest opportunity for you, not for the Divine. If you are not available the Divine can find its own way of fulfilling its Last Culmination of Expression. Even to understand how immense the task is you need a surrendering heart.

The area of the Sahasrara is the realm of God (Kingdom of God within). When the Brahmarandhra opens fully then the heavens open within yourself. The Kundalini, which has risen up and given you Realization, creates the opening by which the Divine starts pouring all its subtleties inside your brain ...

All of us can achieve that state of Nirvikalpa... After Nirvikalpa you cannot come down.”

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him,
Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:
For no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus answered and said unto him,
Verily, verily I say unto thee, except a man born be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born again when he is old?
Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof,
But cannot tell whence it comes and where it goeth: So is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
Jesus answered and said unto him,
Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
Verily, verily, I say unto thee, we speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen and ye receive not our witness.
If I told you earthly things and ye believe not, how shall ye believe if I told you of heavenly things?
Shall ye believe if I told you of heavenly things?

He told them another parable.”The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.

“This is a very important thing that has happened to you, that the Sahasrara has opened. Now you can prove the existence of God, His Will, everything, to the whole world. Nobody can challenge Sahaja Yoga. Those scientists who might challenge, can be told. Anybody, whether you're a scientists, economist, politician, anything, everything can be explained in the light of Sahaja Yoga and can be proved: that there's only one politics, that is of God, one economics that is of God, and there is only one religion that is, of God, that is Vishwa Nirmala Dharma. It can be proved, there's nothing to be afraid of or to worry about.

This all can be proved to the scientists and to the other intellectuals and to some few people if they want to listen to us. If they don't want to listen to us, forget it... But, if they are willing to listen to us, then it's better that we tell them that now we have discovered this great Power and if it works out, if this great Power works out, then only we can really fashion the whole world in a new way... So today is the day we celebrate by which we have opened absolutely a New Dimension. Absolutely a venue of great divinity, of the proofs of the Divine and this is something so great that we can really finish all the illusions they have about themselves. We can manage that. That Power you all have. May God Bless you.”

The Holy Bible
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea.
And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat there; and the whole crowd stood on the beach.
And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow.
And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them.
Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil,
But when the sun rose they were scorched; and since they had no root they withered away.
Other seeds fell upon thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them.
Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
He who has ears, let him hear.”
Then the disciples came and said to him, "Why do you speak to them in parables?”
And he answered them,
"To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
For to him who has will more be given, and he will have abundance; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.
With them indeed is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah which says: 'You shall indeed hear but never understand, and you shall indeed see but never perceive.
For this people's heart has grown dull, and their ears are heavy of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should perceive with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn for me to heal them.'
But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear.
Truly, I say to you, many prophets and righteous men longed to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.
"Hear then the parable of the sower.
When any one hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what is sown in his heart; this is what was sown along the path.
As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
Yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while, and when tribulation or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately he falls away.
As for what was sown among thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the delight in riches choke the word, and it proves unfruitful.
As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the word and understands it; he indeed bears fruit, and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.”
Another parable he put before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field;
But while men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also.
And the servants of the householder came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then has it weeds?
He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Then do you want us to go and gather them?
But he said, 'No; lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them.
Let both grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
Another parable he put before them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field;
It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
He told them another parable. "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.
This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, "Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”
He answered, "He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world,
and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one,
And the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.
Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age.
The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers,
And throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.
"The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up; then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls,
Who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
"Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net which was thrown into the sea and gathered fish of every kind;
When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into vessels but threw away the bad.
So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous,
And throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
And throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth.
"Have you understood all this?” They said to him, "Yes.”
And he said to them, "Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old.” And when Jesus had finished these parables, he went away from there,
And coming to his own country he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all this?”
And they took offense at him. But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country and in his own house.”
And he did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.

“By saying there's no God, God doesn't disappear. He is very much there. Sahaja Yoga is the only way you can prove the existence of God and all that is said so far about all these Incarnations because the Seventh Chakra is now open; you get your Realization, and you become the spirit. It is so imminent that the Seventh Chakra had to be opened so that you pass from one life level, to another level.”

Then the disciples came and said to him," Why do you speak to them in parables?”
As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy;
Another parable he put before them, saying," The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field;
Another parable he put before them, saying," The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field;
It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
He told them another parable.”The kingdom of heaven is like leaven which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
All this Jesus said to the crowds in parables; indeed he said nothing to them without a parable.
This was to fulfil what was spoken by the prophet: "I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”
Then he left the crowds and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying," Explain to us the parable of the weeds of the field.”
He answered," He who sows the good seed is the Son of man;
The field is the world,
and the good seed means the sons of the kingdom; the weeds are the sons of the evil one,
And the enemy who sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the close of the age, and the reapers are angels.
Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the close of the age.

It is not in the limits of human understanding how things are worked in the heavens. It is your fortune and God's Love that has worked this one. Without this happening there could not have been a possibility to give mass Realization to people. One could have done it on one or two persons here and there, but to give such a mass awakening could not have been possible.”

1 Corinthians 4.20

“Now you all have realized by this time that within us lies the Peace, the Beauty, the Glory of our being. There's an Ocean of all that. We cannot seek it outside — We have to go within, what they call," in the meditative state.”You seek it, you enjoy it... Like when you are thirsty you go to a river or you go to an ocean and try to quench your thirst. But even the ocean cannot give you sweet water. So how can anything that is spread outside give you that deep thing that is deep within you? You are trying to find it outside where it does not lie.

It is so simple because it is your own. It is within us, absolutely within us. Whatever you have been doing — going out to find the joy, is so called joy, is so called happiness, so called worldly powers and worldly possessions — you have to reverse it back the whole thing. You have to project within yourself.”

Parables: The Mysteries of God's Kingdom Revealed Through the Stories Jesus Told
'Jesus' parables were ingeniously simple word pictures with profound spiritual lessons. His teaching was full of these everyday stories. Some of them were no more than fleeting remarks about commonplace incidents, objects, or persons. In fact, the most compact of all Jesus' short stories does not even fill a complete verse of Scripture. It is found in Matthew 13:33: 'The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.' In the original Greek text, that parable is just nineteen words. It is the most ordinary of anecdotes about the most common of activities told in the fewest possible words. But it contains a profound lesson about the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. Like all Jesus' parables, it captivated His hearers and has sustained the interest of Bible students for two thousand years.

Jesus was the master storyteller. There is not a truism so familiar or a doctrine so complex that He could not give it new depth and insight through the telling of a simple story. These narratives epitomize the plain, powerful profundity of His message and His teaching style.

Sloppy Thinking About the Parables

Despite the popularity of the parables, both the method and the meaning behind Jesus' use of these stories are frequently misunderstood and misrepresented, even by Bible scholars and experts in literary genre.

Many assume, for example, that Jesus told parables for one reason only: to make His teaching as easy, accessible, and comfortable as possible. After all, the parables were full of familiar features'easily recognizable scenes, agricultural and pastoral metaphors, household items, and common people. This would naturally make His words simpler for His provincial audience to relate to and grasp. It was without question a brilliant teaching method, unveiling eternal mysteries for simple minds. Jesus' parables certainly do show that even the simplest stories and illustrations can be effective tools for teaching the most sublime truths.'

“But despite that, it did not appeal to the logic of the people who were at the helm of affairs. So they have no logic in their heads, you see, they are just rationalist. Rationality is blindness but there's no logic. So because there is no logic they killed Him. And Christ understood that there is no logic with these people so better talk to them in parables.

So He talked to them in parables, but still they killed Him. The authorities, they couldn't bear, they thought He's becoming very powerful, or whatever it was.”

THE APOCALYPSE OF THE SPIRIT-PARACLETE
The fulfillment of the promised divine eschatological instruction
“The original meaning of the word ‘apocalypse’, derived from the Greek apokalypsis, is in fact not the cataclysmic end of the world, but an ‘unveiling’, or ‘revelation’, a means whereby one gains insight into the present.” (Kovacs, 2013, 2) An apocalypse (Greek: apokalypsis meaning “an uncovering”) is in religious contexts knowledge or revelation, a disclosure of something hidden, “a vision of heavenly secrets that can make sense of earthly realities.” (Ehrman 2014, 59)
Shri Mataji
Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (1923-2011) was Christian by birth, Hindu by marriage, and Paraclete by duty.
“The Paraclete will come (15:26; 16:7, 8, 13) as Jesus has come into the world (5:43; 16:28; 18:37)... The Paraclete will take the things of Christ (the things that are mine, ek tou emou) and declare them (16:14-15). Bishop Fison describes the humility of the Spirit, 'The true Holy Spirit of God does not advertise Herself: She effaces Herself and advertises Jesus.' ...
It is by the outgoing activity of the Spirit that the divine life communicates itself in and to the creation. The Spirit is God-in-relations. The Paraclete is the divine self-expression which will be and abide with you, and be in you (14:16-17). The Spirit's work is described in terms of utterance: teach you, didasko (14:26), remind you, hypomimnesko (14:26), testify, martyro (15:26), prove wrong, elencho (16:8), guide into truth, hodego (16:13), speak, laleo (16:13, twice), declare, anangello (16:13, 14, 15). The johannine terms describe verbal actions which intend a response in others who will receive (lambano), see (theoreo), or know (ginosko) the Spirit. Such speech-terms link the Spirit with the divine Word. The Spirit's initiatives imply God's personal engagement with humanity. The Spirit comes to be with others; the teaching Spirit implies a community of learners; forgetful persons need a prompter to remind them; one testifies expecting heed to be paid; one speaks and declares in order to be heard. The articulate Spirit is the correlative of the listening, Spirit-informed community.
The final Paraclete passage closes with a threefold repetition of the verb she will declare (anangello), 16:13-15. The Spirit will declare the things that are to come (v.13), and she will declare what is Christ's (vv. 14, 15). The things of Christ are a message that must be heralded...
The intention of the Spirit of truth is the restoration of an alienated, deceived humanity... The teaching role of the Paraclete tends to be remembered as a major emphasis of the Farewell Discourses, yet only 14:26 says She will teach you all things. (Teaching is, however, implied when 16:13-15 says that the Spirit will guide you into all truth, and will speak and declare.) Franz Mussner remarks that the word used in 14:26, didaskein, "means literally 'teach, instruct,' but in John it nearly always means to reveal.” (Stevick 2011, 292-7)

“The Kingdom of God stands as a comprehensive term for all that the messianic salvation included... is something to be sought here and now (Mt. 6:33) and to be received as children receive a gift (Mk. 10:15 = Lk. 18:16-17).”
G. Ladd, A Theology of the New Testament

“But today is the day I declare that I am the one who has to save the humanity. I declare I am the one who is Adishakti, who is the Mother of all the Mothers, who is the Primordial Mother, the Shakti, the desire of God, who has incarnated on this Earth to give its meaning to itself; to this creation, to human beings and I am sure through My Love and patience and My powers I am going to achieve it.

I was the one who was born again and again. But now in my complete form and complete powers I have come on this Earth not only for salvation of human beings, not only for their emancipation, but for granting them the Kingdom of Heaven, the joy, the bliss that your Father wants to bestow upon you.”

Guest: “Hello Mother.”
Shri Mataji: “Yes.”
Guest: “I wanted to know, is the Cool Breeze (Pneuma) that you have spoken about, you feel on the hands the Cool Wind of the Holy Spirit, as spoken about in the Bible?”
Shri Mataji: “Yes. Yes, yes, same thing, same thing. You have done the good job now, I must say.”
Interviewer: “Is it the Holy Spirit?”
Shri Mataji: “Yes, of course, is the Holy Spirit.”
Guest: “Aha... I am feeling it now on my hand through the [not clear]”
Shri Mataji: “It’s good.”
Interviewer: “Did you want to say anything more than that?”
Guest: “No, I just... That’s all I wanted to know because I...”
Shri Mataji: “Because you are thoughtless now. Enjoy yourself.”
Guest: “Thank you.”

(The guest experienced the Cool Breeze [Pneuma/Prana/Chi] of the Spirit through the baptism [second birth by Spirit/Kundalini awakening] given by the Comforter Shri Mataji over the radio. )

Second Guest: “I just want to ask Mother about a quotation from the Bible.”
Interviewer: “Yes, what’s that?”
Guest: “It says, ‘But the comfort of the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in My name would teach you all things.’ I would like to ask Her about that.”
Interviewer: “Could you just repeat the quotation again?”
Guest: “But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you all things.”
Interviewer: “And that’s from where?”
Guest: “John chapter 14, verse 26.”
Shri Mataji: “I think you should take your realization and then you will know the answer to it. Because, logically if it points out to one person, then you have to reach the conclusion, isn’t it? That’s a logical way of looking at things. But I am not going to say anything or claim anything. It is better you people find out yourself.”
Interviewer: “Does that answer your question?”
Guest: “Is the, is the Comforter on the Earth at the present time? Has the Comforter incarnated? Mataji should be able to tell us this because She said that through these vibrations on Her hands, She ...”
Shri Mataji: “Yes, She is very much here and She’s talking to you now. Can you believe that?”
Guest: “Well, I feel something cool [Pneuma/Prana/Chi] on my hand. Is that some indication of the ...?”
Shri Mataji: “Yes, very much so. So that’s the proof of the thing. You’ve already started feeling it in your hands.”
Guest: “Can I?”
Shri Mataji: “Ask the question, ‘Mother, are you the Comforter?’”
Guest: “Mother, are you the Comforter?”
Shri Mataji: “Ask it thrice.”
Guest: “Mother, are you the Comforter?”
Shri Mataji: “Again.”
Guest: “Mother, are you the Comforter?”
Shri Mataji: “Now, what do you get?”
Guest: “Oh, I feel this kind of cool tingling [Pneuma/Prana/Chi] passing all through my body.”
Shri Mataji: “That’s the answer now.”

Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi (1923-2011): Christian by birth, Hindu by marriage and Paraclete by duty.
The Paraclete and the disciples (vv. 25-26): The theme of departure (cf. vv. 1-6; vv. 18-24) returns. There are two "times" in the experience of the disciples: the now as Jesus speaks to them (v. 25) and the future time when the Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father in the name of Jesus, will be with them (v. 26). The Paraclete will replace Jesus' physical presence, teaching them all things and recalling for them everything he has said (v. 26). As Jesus is the Sent One of the Father (cf. 4:34; 5:23; 24, 30, 37; 6:38-40; 7:16; 8:16, 18, 26; 12:44-49), so is the Paraclete sent by the Father. The mission and purpose of the former Paraclete, Jesus (cf. 14:13-14), who speaks and teaches "his own" will continue into the mission and purpose of the "other Paraclete" (cf. v. 16) who teaches and brings back the memory of all that Jesus has said. The time of Jesus is intimately linked with the time after Jesus, and the accepted meaning of a departure has been undermined. The inability of the disciples to understand the words and deeds of Jesus will be overcome as they "remember" what he had said (cf. 2:22) and what had been written of him and done to him (cf. 12:16). The "remembering" will be the fruit of the presence of the Paraclete with the disciples in the in-between-time. In v. 16 Jesus focused on the inability of the world to know the Paraclete, but in v. 26 the gift of the Paraclete to "his own" is developed. As Jesus was with the disciples (v. 25), so will the Paraclete be with the disciples in the midst of hostility and rejection (v. 16). As the story has insisted that Jesus' teaching has revealed God to his disciples, so will the Paraclete recall and continue Jesus' revelation of God to the disciples (v. 26).” (Harrington 1998, 412)

“The main thing that one has to understand is that the time has come for you to get all that is promised in the scriptures, not only in the Bible but all all the scriptures of the world. The time has come today that you have to become a Christian, a Brahmin, a Pir, through your Kundalini awakening only. There is no other way. And that your Last Judgment is also now.”

“You see, the Holy Ghost is the Mother. When they say about the Holy Ghost, She is the Mother... Now, the principle of Mother is in every, every scripture — has to be there. Now, the Mother's character is that She is the one who is the Womb, She is the one who is the Mother Earth, and She is the one who nourishes you. She nourishes us. You know that. And this Feminine thing in every human being resides as this Kundalini.”

“What are they awaiting but for the Hour to come upon them suddenly? Its Signs have already come. What good will their Reminder be to them when it does arrive?” (Qur'n, 47:18) “As the above verse indicates, God has revealed some of Doomsday's signs in the Qur'n. In Surat az-Zukhruf 43:61, God informs us that 'He [Jesus] is a Sign of the Hour. Have no doubt about it...' Thus we can say, based particularly on Islamic sources but also on the Old Testament and the New Testament, that we are living in the End Times.” Harun Yahya

Concerning the Great News. [5889]

[Moderator]: “Any other questions?”
[Audience]: “Pardon me for asking this question, but, earlier you talked about the Resurrection and you mentioned about the scriptures, where like in the Hindus scriptures they talk about the Kalki Avatar who will come for the Resurrection, and for the Christians, I know they talk about the return of Christ and all the religions talk about this Resurrection and the belief in the coming of the Messiah. So I just want to know since you say you are going to give the resurrection to us, what is your station?”

Shri Mataji: “In Russia?”
[Audience]: “And are you the promised Messiah? Shri Mataji, are you?”
Shri Mataji: “I see now I am not going to tell you anything about myself, to be very frank. Because see Christ said He was the Son of God, and they crucified Him. I don't want to get crucified. You have to find out. When you become the Spirit you will know what I am. I don't want to say anything about myself.”

“Jesus then goes on the offensive against the scribes and Pharisees, pronouncing seven woes against them (Matt. 23:1-36). The final woe identifiers them with all those in Israel's history who have murdered and opposed the prophets. From Abel to Zechariah, all the blood of the righteous will come on them as they typologically fulfill this pattern in the murder of Jesus (23:29-36). They are the wicked tenants who think to kill the son and take his inheritance (21:38). They are seed of the serpent, a brood of vipers (23:33). Their house (the temple?) is desolate, and they will not see Jesus again until they bless him as he comes in the name of the Lord (23:37-39). Somehow, through the judgments Jesus announces against them, salvation will apparently come even for the people of Israel. As Olmstead puts it, Matthew "dares to hope for the day when many of Israel's sons and daughters will embrace Israel's Messiah (23:39), and in that hope engages in a continued mission in her.”” Hamilton 2010, 377

“It is the Mother who can awaken the Kundalini, and that the Kundalini is your own Mother. She is the Holy Ghost within you, the Adi Shakti, and She Herself achieves your transformation. By any talk, by any rationality, by anything, it cannot be done.”

“She is your pure Mother. She is the Mother who is individually with you. Forget your concepts, and forget your identifications. Please try to understand She is your Mother, waiting for ages to give you your real birth. She is the Holy Ghost within you. She has to give you your realization, and She's just waiting and waiting to do it.”

“The Kundalini is your own mother; your individual mother. And She has tape-recorded all your past and your aspirations. Everything! And She rises because She wants to give you your second birth. But She is your individual mother. You don't share Her with anybody else. Yours is a different, somebody else's is different because the tape-recording is different. We say She is the reflection of the Adi Shakti who is called as Holy Ghost in the Bible.”

Press Conference July 08 1999—London, UK

The Great Goddess is both wholly transcendent and fully immanent: beyond space and time, she is yet embodied within all existent beings; without form as pure, infinite consciousness (cit) ... She is the universal, cosmic energy known as Sakti, and the psychophysical, guiding force designated as the Kundalini (Serpent Power) resident within each individual. She is eternal, without origin or birth, yet she is born in this world in age after age, to support those who seek her assistance. Precisely to provide comfort and guidance to her devotees, she presents herself in the Devi Gita to reveal the truths leading both to worldly happiness and to the supreme spiritual goals: dwelling in her Jeweled Island and mergence into her own perfect being.” (Brown, 1998, 2)
