The Holy Qur'n
Al
Tariq:
"The
Night Visitant - And What Will Explain To Thee What The Night-Visitant
Is?"
"This
surah also belongs to the early Makkan period, perhaps not far removed
from the last Surah. Its subject matter is the protection afforded to
every soul in the darkest period of its spiritual history. The physical
nature of man may be insignificant, but the soul given to him by Allah
must win a glorious Future in the end.
C. 266. -
(86:1-17.)
Through the
darkest night comes the penetrating light of a glorious Star.
Such is the
power of Revelation: it protects and guides the erring.
And what is man?
But a creature of flesh and bones!
But Allah
by His Power doth raise Man's state to a Life Beyond! - when lo!
All
things hidden will be made plain.
Man's help
will then be but the Word of Allah, which none can thwart.
So wait with
gentle patience - for His Decision."
Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'n
(Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'n, Amana Corporation, 1989.)
By the Sky
[6067]
and the Night-Visitant (therein) -
And what will explain to thee what
the Night-Visitant is?
(It is) the
Star of piercing brightness -
There is no soul but has a protector over
it.
[6069]
Now let man
but think from what he is created!
He is created from a drop emitted -
Proceeding
from between the backbone and the ribs:
Surely (Allah) is able to bring
him back (to life)!
The Day
that (all) things secret will be tested,
(Man) will have no power, and no
helper [6073]
By the
Firmament which returns (in its round),
And by the Earth which opens out,
Behold this
is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil):
It is not a thing for
amusement.
As for
them, [6077] they are but plotting a scheme,
And I am planning a
scheme.
Therefore
grant a delay to the unbelievers:
Give respite to them gently (for
awhile.)
surah 86:1-17
Al Tariq (The Night Star)
(Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'n, Amana Corporation, 1989.)
"6067.
In the last Surah we considered the persecution of Allah's votaries, and
how Allah protects them. Here the same theme is presented in another
aspect. In the darkest sky shines out most brilliantly the light of the
most bright star. So in the night of spiritual darkness - whether
through ignorance or distress - shines the glorious star of Allah's
revelation.
6069. If
man has a true spiritual understanding, he has nothing to be afraid of. He
is protected by Allah in many ways that he does not even know. He may be
an insignificant creature as a mere animal, but his soul raises him to a
dignity above other creation. And all sorts of divine forces guard and
protect him.
6073. In
that new world, all our actions, motives, thoughts, and imaginings of this
life, however secret, will be brought into the open, and tested by the
standards of absolute Truth, and not by false standards of custom,
prejudice, or partiality. In that severe test, any adventitious advantage
of this life will have no strength or force whatever, and cannot help in
any way.
6077.
Though Allah in His Mercy has provided a piercing light to penetrate our
spiritual darkness, and made our beings responsive to the growth of
spiritual understanding ... yet there are evil, unregenerate men who
plot and scheme against the beneficent purpose of Allah. But their plots
will be of no avail, and Allah's Purpose will prevail."

Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'n, Amana Corporation, 1989.)

The Night Visitant Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi
-
Is the Night-Visitant the
Great Adi Shakti, a visitor to this Earth from "a strange or
foreign place"?
-
Is the Night-Visitant
Allah's Ruh, "a
supernatural being" from a strange or
foreign place?
-
Has the Night-Visitant
Proclaimed that Al-Qiyamah has begun?
-
Has the Night-Visitant
Recited what Al-Qiyamah is?
-
Has the Night-Visitant
Explained in detail how to resurrect during Al- Qiyamah?
-
Since
the "physical
nature of man may be insignificant" then how will the "soul given to him by Allah
must win a glorious Future in the end"?
-
or is this possible only
during the Night of Power and Fate preceding the Day of Noise and
Clamor?
-
"And what will
explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?"
-
Is the Night-Visitant also
the "Star
of Piercing Brightness"?
-
Is the Star of Piercing
Brightness in every human mind?
-
Is the Night-Visitant in
every human mind?
-
Is Qiyamah "the Day
all things secret will be tested"?
-
Is Qiyamah the Age when
all human deeds will be judged?
-
Is Qiyamah the new world
when "all our actions, motives, thoughts, and imaginings of this
life, however secret, will be brought into the open, and tested by the
standards of absolute Truth, and not by false standards of custom,
prejudice, or partiality"?
-
Is the Day of Qiyamah the
New World of "that severe test, (where) any adventitious advantage
of this life will have no strength or force whatever, and cannot help in
any way"?
-
Is this
the Word (Revelation) that "distinguishes (Good from
Evil)"?
-
Is this Word
(Sure Signs of Qiyamah) "not a
thing for amusement"?
-
Isn't it true that
"Allah in His Mercy has provided a piercing light to penetrate our
spiritual darkness, and made our beings responsive to the growth of
spiritual understanding"?
-
So who are the "evil,
unregenerate men who plot and scheme against the beneficent purpose of
Allah"?
-
Will these evil,
unregenerate hypocrites plot and scheme to deny the Message of Qiyamah announced by the Night-Visitant?
-
Will these evil,
regenerate fanatics still fabricate that the Day of Qiyamah is the Day
of Doom?
-
Will these evil,
regenerate fools still defy that the Day of Resurrection has begun?
-
Will these evil,
regenerate guardians of religious regimes still scheme to defeat Allah's Plan for all humanity?
"it's
a very great thing we must realize within ourselves
that no amount of cruelty, planning against us
-
any
kind of violence of other people -
cannot harm us. If
they ever try to harm us they will be harmed
themselves. All of our work will go on smoothly. We
should not lose, even for a minute, our
self-confidence and our determination. ... One should have full faith with one's self to
understand that God is with us and He's
All-Powerful."

But
all
these unregenerate men, hypocrites, fanatics, fools,
sheikhs, imams, ayatollahs,
amirs, caliphs, ulama, mu'ttilah, aalims, mujtahids, mullahs and muftis will be plotting schemes to defy Allah's Announcement (An-Naba)
of Qiyamah. So will Allah plot against them: "But their plots will be
of no avail, and Allah's Purpose will prevail." And they will all
face the Penalty of the Fire! Be forewarned, fools and fundamentalists, be
forewarned!
So
Peace during the Night of Power and Fate (Al Qadr) until the Dawn
of the Day of Noise and Clamour (Al Qariah)
LAA
UQSIM BI-YAWM AL-QIYAMAH;
WA-LAA UQSIM BI-AN-NAFSAL-LAWWAAMAH
I do
call to witness the Resurrection Day;
And I do call to witness the
self-reproaching Spirit.

"Much
of the Qur'n is an expression of Nirmala Vidya:
compassionate, clear and uncompromising, which is the
support of the Atma Tattwa in this
material universe. There is either Reality or
unreality - there is no half- Reality."

"The
time may have come for us to do a final reckoning with
ourselves, our people, and the international
community. Never in the history of mankind have we
faced such total collapse as we do today. Where has
morality gone? Where on the face of this Earth is a
group or groups of moral human beings? There is a
limit to human endurance of suffering without protest;
that limit has been passed! When a group of our people
in Malaysia wants to bring back the Quran to the
hearts of the populace today, this is the significance
and the implication. For a thousand years, Muslims
have strayed so far away from God's teachings and
lived in such ignorance that they are powerless to
destroy the evil perpetrated before their eyes.
Western civilization too has strayed far away from the
teachings of the prophets, including Moses and Jesus.
Both East and West must return to God's teachings,
particularly the Quran, His final, complete, perfect,
and detailed scripture."

"The
relationship of the religion of faith to mysticism
("personal religion raised to the highest
power") is ambiguous, a mixture of respect and
misgivings. Though mysticism may be associated with
religion, it need not be. The mystic often represents
a type that the religious institution (e.g., church)
does not and cannot produce and does not know what to
do with if and when one appears. As William Ralph Inge,
an English theologian, commented,
"institutionalism and mysticism have been uneasy
bedfellows." Although mysticism has been the core
of Hinduism and Buddhism, it has been little more than
a minor strand - and, frequently, a disturbing
element - in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam....
The founders of religion may have been incipient or
advanced mystics, but the inner compulsions of their
experience have proved less amenable to dogmas,
creeds, and institutional restrictions, which are
bound to be outward and majority oriented. There are
religions of authority and the religion of the spirit.
Thus, there is a paradox: if the mystic minority is
distrusted or maltreated, religious life loses its
sap; on the other hand, these "peculiar
people" do not easily fit into society, with the
requirements of a prescriptive community composed of
less sensitive seekers of safety and religious
routine. Though no deeply religious person can be
without a touch of mysticism, and no mystic can be, in
the deepest sense, other than religious, the dialogue
between mystics and conventional religionists has been
far from happy. From both sides there is a constant
need for restatement and revaluation, a greater
tolerance, a union of free men's worship. Though it
validates religion, mysticism also tends to escape the
fetters of organized religion."
