The Holy Qur'n
The
Dealers In Fraud
Woe, that Day, to those that deny the Day of
Judgement,
And none can deny
it, but the Transgressor beyond bounds, the Sinner!
When
Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the
Ancients!"
By
no means! But on their hearts is the stain of the (ill) which they do!
Verily,
from their Lord, that Day will they be veiled.
Further, they will enter
the Fire of Hell.
Further, it will be said to them: "This is the (reality) which ye
rejected as false!
surah
83:10-17 Al Mutaffun (The Dealers In Fraud)
(Abdullah
Yusuf Ali, The Holy Qur'n, Amana Corporation, 1989.)
Woe
unto the repudiators on that day!
Those who deny the Day of Judgment which
none denieth,
Save each criminal transgressor,
Who,
when thou readest unto him Our revelations, saith:
(Mere) fables of the
men of old.
Nay,
but that which they have earned is rust upon their hearts.
Nay,
but surely on that day they will be covered,
From (the mercy of) their
Lord.
Then lo! they verily will burn in hell,
And
it will be said (unto them): This is that which ye used to deny.
surah
83:10-17 Al Mutaffun
(Mohammed Pickthall, The Meaning of the Glorious Quran, U. of Michigan.)
Woe
on that day to the rejecters, who give the lie to the day of judgment.
And
none gives the lie to it but every exceeder of limits, sinful one.
When
Our communications are recited to him, he says:
Stories of those of yore.
Nay!
rather, what they used to do has become like rust upon their hearts.
Nay!
most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord.
Then most
surely they shall enter the burning fire.
Then
shall it be said: This is what you gave the lie to.
surah
83:10-17 Al Mutaffun
(Muhammed Shakir, The Holy Qur'n,
University of Michigan.)
Ah
the woe that day for those who deny, who call the Day of Judgment a lie!
None denies it but the sinful transgressors.
When
Our revelations are recited before him, he says:
"These are fables of
long ago."
No.
In fact what they have been doing has rusted their hearts.
Therefore
they will be screened off from their Lord that day,
Then they will indeed
burn in Hell.
Then
they will be told: "This is what you had denied."
surah
83:10-17 The Defrauders (Al-Mutaffin)
(Ahmed
Ali, Islam: The Qur'n, Princeton University Press, 1988.)
1.
We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of
Power:
2.
And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?
3.
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
4.
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's
permission, on every errand:
5.
Peace!...This until the rise of morn!
surah
97:1-5 Al-Qadr (Night of Power)
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy
Qur'n, 1989.)
The lies are clear to
some just as they are oblivious to the vast majority. The
Message of the Resurrection is an explicit warning that a great calamity is
about to befall humankind. The Qur'n is clear about the reason the Message to commence the Resurrection is being issued to
all for Allah has never destroyed and meted punishment until and unless He
has warned beforehand. The present Night of Power and Fate (Al Qadr)
defers the feared Day of Sorting Out (Al Qairah):
12. For
what Day are these (Portents)
deferred?
13. For the Day
of Sorting out.
14. And what will explain to thee what
is the Day of Sorting out?
15. Ah woe that Day to the Rejecters
of Truth!
surah
77:12-15 Al Mursalat (Those Sent Forth)
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy
Qur'n, 1989.)
"portent
1. to be an omen or warning of; foreshadow;
presage 2. to be an indication of;
signify n 1 something that portends an
event about to occur, esp. an unfortunate event; omen"
Webster
New World Dictionary
(Retrievedster
New World Dictionary, Third College Ed., Simon &
Schuster, 1988.)
"defer to put off to a future time; postpone;
delay"
Webster
New World Dictionary
(Retrievedster
New World Dictionary, Third College Ed., Simon &
Schuster, 1988.)
"DEFER, POSTPONE, SUSPEND, STAY mean to delay an action
or proceeding. DEFER implies a deliberate putting off
to a later time."
Merriam-Webster's
Collegiate Dictionary
The above are two
distinct and different periods, one preceding and warning about the other.
The
Night of Power and Fate (Al Qadr)
precedes and warns about
Day of Noise and Clamour (Al Qariah).
Despite such clear-cut verses the Ummah continue to wait for the world to
end suddenly, a cold-hearted and callous act by Allah devoid of mercy and
chance to repent. This deceit is surely the work of Satan who promised Allah that he will
mislead humans. And he has succeeded brilliantly as hundreds of millions
will not believe that Allah in His Mercy has sent messengers to proclaim
the Night of Power and Fate, the Day that defers the portents of the
calamitous End or Day of Sorting out. Yet most of those reading these
lines will scoff at Allah's Revelations and say:
"Tales of the
Ancients!"
So be forewarned, unbelievers, be
forewarned! You too have become a dealer in fraud and in the Hereafter
will be asked:
"O
ye assembly of Jinns and men! Came there not unto you messengers from
amongst you, setting
forth unto you My Signs, and warning you of the meeting of this day of
yours?"
Qur'n 6.130-13
(Abdullah Yusuf Ali, The Holy
Qur'n, 1989.)
So you deny that the verses of Resurrection has been Collected!
So you deny that the Age of Resurrection has been Promulgated!
So you deny that the surahs of Resurrection has been Recited!
So you deny that the Sure Signs of Resurrection has been Explained!
So you call the Day of Resurrection a lie!
So you call Our Revelations "tales of the ancients"!
So you call Our Revelations "fables of the men of old"!
So you call Our Revelations "stories of those of yore"!
So you call Our Revelations "fables of long ago"!
So you defy Allah's Call to witness the Resurrection Day!
So you challenge Allah's Call to witness the self-reproaching Spirit!
So you mock
the Good News of Al-Qiyamah!
Then you will be veiled from your Lord!
Then you will be covered from the mercy of your Lord!
Then you will be debarred from your Lord!
Then you will be screened off from your Lord!
Then you will indeed burn in Hell!
Then you will be told:
"This is the (reality) which ye
rejected as false!"
Then you will be told:
" This is that which ye used to deny."
Then you will be told: " This is what you gave the lie to."
Then you will be told: "This is what you
had denied."
LAA
UQSIM BI-YAWM AL-QIYAMAH;
WA-LAA UQSIM BI-AN-NAFSAL-LAWWAAMAH
I do
call to witness the Resurrection Day;
And I do call to witness the
self-reproaching Spirit.
Of what
are they asking one another?
(Is it) of the Great Announcement, about which they
have been differing?
They will indeed come to know soon;
They will indeed come to know soon.
surah 78:1-40 Al Naba'
(The Announcement)
(Ahmad Ali, Islam: The Qur'n, Princeton University
Press, 1988)
