The Holy Qur'n
Mighty
Blasts On
Earth Announced
The Blasts of Truth to all the Believers are as follows:
Alas the woe for every
dissembling sinner,
Who hears the revelations of
God being recited to him,
Yet persists in denying with
arrogance as though he had never heard them!
So warn him of a painful
punishment.
When he comes to know
something of Our messages he makes fun of them:
For them is shameful
punishment. There is Hell before them;
And whatever they have earned
will not avail them in the least,
Nor those whom they take as
friends apart from God.
There is great chastisement
for them... . This is guidance.
Those who deny the
revelations of their Lord will suffer a dreadful doom.
surah 45:7-14
Kneeling (Al-Jathiyah)
Ahmed Ali,
Islam: The
Qur'n
"Over 40 years ago, my
first book, The Outsider, and its sequel, Religion and the
Rebel, were devoted to the proposition that there is a
profound truth in the religious view of the human being as
an imperfect and incomplete creature struggling for
"salvation" and completion. All my work since has
been a development of this idea. As I wrote this book,
studying every kind of religious site from barrows and
sacred groves to cathedral and mosques, again and again I
have experienced the conviction that religion expresses a
basic truth about humans and the universe. I have never
ceased to believe that people are on the point of an
evolutionary leap to a higher stage, and that this leap will
involve the faculty that we call imagination, but which is
actually a kind of "reality function" - an
attempt to reach out and touch the reality of other times
and places - of "other realities." For me, every
cathedral and mosque, every temple and sacred mountain, has
come to symbolize this possibility."

Concerning the

Verily, verily they shall soon (come to) know!
